Cost Controller Job description
- Provide monthly, quarterly and annual reports of all factory activities to be presented to Top Management.
- Make annual factory budget with participation with top management and other departments.
- Analyze all variations between budget and actual data with detailed reasons.
- Calculate direct cost, indirect cost and over head cost for each batch record.
- Review all Batch records with all details to check the main causes of the variances between theoretical & standard and actual outputs and make reports with the variances on weekly and monthly basis.
- Compare between sales volume and production volume to calculate the stock variation on monthly basis.
- Create all required modules on system and register all required data for new products “ Bill of material,
material prices, Energy consumption and labor hours “
- Analyze variances between theoretical & actual production hours and analyze stoppage time and impact on production cost and productivity.
- Make reports for non efficient working hours for the machines and calculate the percentage of occupation of capacity of the machines and also for the labor working hours.
- Control the prices of raw material within the limit with Purchasing Manager according to budget and
approve them by top management and see the impact on the cost of products.
- Follow up Energy consumption (Electricity/Water/Gas) to calculate the consumption and compare with budget to check for differences in prices and calculate consumption and cost per product to take in consideration in new budget.
- Control stock efficiency and make adjustments for raw material stocks with all detailed justifications.
Stock Controller Job description
- Ensure all inventory and stock management systems are maintained accurately, within the agreed parameters and in a timely manner.
- Responsible for factory & third party material plan and report for material shortage according to marketing & sales plan “Transfer sales plan to material plan “
- Revise purchasing orders and the “in-stock” levels within the agreed inventory parameters.
- Purchase inventory within the agreed budgets.
- Maintain a process for returns. Manage a defined area in the storeroom for returns. This area will include expired, damaged and un-saleable goods.
- Comply with all aspects of the Standard Operating Procedures manual.
- Apply safety instruction all over the company.
- Control all process “ receive & issue “ in raw material and packaging material in Warehouse and make sure that it’s matched with GMP and apply FIFO and FEFO concerning warehouse transactions.
- Handle monthly inventory of raw & packaging material and finished product.
- Finished goods stock control by comparing (Monthly) the production records with the finished product store keeper records.
- Apply and control time management plan and KPI’s for warehouse team.
- Control over consumption of main important raw material to avoid sudden losses.
● Calculate direct cost, indirect cost and over head cost efficiency.
● Prepare annual factory budget with participation with top management and other departments.
● Responsible for pricing of finished products and spare parts.
● Collect scrap data and enter on GPAO System and extract this data to have in daily reports in values.
● Review the accounts payable invoices “Local & Foreign “and its attachments (Delivery note & reception) and controlling any problems (price change/missing quantities/coefficient problems) to be passed to Financial Department.
● Issue debit & credit notes for suppliers and customers depending on differences in prices, quantities or other reasons.
● Control monthly inventory of raw material with cooperation with Supply Chain Manager.
● Control stock efficiency and make adjustments for raw material stocks.
● Prepare all daily / monthly required data for production analysis “Stoppage-Time per product-defects and scrap rates “
● Follow up the quantities of scrap sold and to identify the relation between what is scraped and what is sold, also control scrap refund for scraped material and treat all this refund in monthly report.
● Follow up energy consumption (Electricity/Water/Gas) to calculate the consumption and cost per product to take in consideration in new budget.
● Control over consumption of main important raw material to avoid sudden losses.
● Manage material meeting explained Scrap results & over consumption to have global view for the new budget.
- Local and foreign purchaser of spare parts.
- Control purchasing process, budget and expenses efficiently.
- Quoting and negotiating inquiries, placing orders and ensure buying best quality with best prices.
- Evaluating the current suppliers in terms of price, quality, delivery, service, etc, to be considered in the future purchase decisions.
- Dealing with suppliers in different fields inside and outside Egypt.
- Make planning and analysis for needed spare parts to be available in stock.
- Good knowledge in shipping process and customs clearance.
- Make and Pass local and foreign orders through GPAO System.
- Supervisor of spare parts warehouse of Maintenance Department.
- Control minimum and maximum stock to according to requirements and budget.
- Control value of stock of spare parts warehouse.
- Supervise inventory every month and provide monthly reports.
- Following in voices and paper work for suppliers.
For Purchasing
● Calculate the average Qty required per each item on monthly basis.
● Placing bulk order taking into consideration the best material price according to market ratio.
● Updating some parameters upon application system \[safety stock, supplier production lead time, minimum Qty per order and unit in use\].
● Receiving monthly sales forecast which is the consumption forecast for the next three months that started from launching and it’s registered upon application system by supply chain manager.
● Calculating required Qty of every item after checking consumption fluctuations then release orders to suppliers.
● Check with suppliers about order confirmations or proforma-invoices and review supplier delivery dates, Qty and prices.
● Review all outstanding orders with all suppliers.
● Review production plan and anticipate shortage then take corrective action accordingly.
● Closing the purchase orders across application system and Close the invoice cycle with accountancy in case of deferred payment.
For warehouse
● Receiving local and foreign material of TV, LCD and Plasma.
● Issue material for production lines according to monthly planning.
● Inform about shortage of received materials and make claim for it.
● Provide analysis of monthly and annual inventory and make reports of it.
● Control material on the lines and make analysis for defect material.
