Key projects
ISP Authoritative and Caching DNS servers: Implement and manage scalable and highly tuned DNS servers across multiple sites using IP Anycast ensuring no single point of failure. Develop scripts to auto-detect and mitigate DDOS attacks.
ISP Mail Gateway: Created highly available and scalable mail gateways in multi-site scanning, filtering, accounting and delivering millions of emails daily based on Canit-pro appliance.
Mail / Web Hosting: Established redundant, scalable and centralised mail hosting servers based on (Atmail 7, Multi-master MySQL replication, and GlusterFS replication).
Implemented scalable web hosting servers based on Plesk (Linux / Windows Servers).
Planned and migrated hundreds of customers from different legacy systems to the new mail/ web hosting platform.
SMS Gateway: Developed a high-performance SMS gateway to be used by different applications through various carriers (HTTP / SMPP).
Orchestrated design, implementation, and engineering of Linux-based solutions, security standards, backup procedures, and additional recovery processes in accordance with disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Managed Enterprise Storage (NetApp Storage) and plan for future storage requirements.
Authored infrastructure standards documentation related to infrastructure systems design, configuration, support, and processes.

Oracle EBS 11i Migration / R12 Upgrade: Migrated Oracle EBS 11i from Windows to Oracle Linux, Upgraded Oracle EBS 11i to R12 on Oracle Linux handling all Linux/storage related activities.
Centralised Backup System: Created automated and centralised backup / archive system for network devices configurations (Routers, Switches, Access Points, Cisco ASA, Cisco FWSM, Cisco ACE, and Cisco MDS Switches).
Performed design, implementation, and maintenance of ISP core services (DNS, Mail Servers, Mail Gateways, Web Servers, MRTG, Webhosting, and Centralised Backup System among others). Administered system tuning and optimisation plans and performed BCP periodic tests.
