Job description
• working in both indoor and outdoor environment in all weather conditions following safety instructions.
• Scheduling the deployment of personnel, dredging sand filling, auxiliary equipment, and subcontractors.
• Ensuring that the duties assigned to me are executed safely and without risks for the health, quality, and environment, both according to the customers requirements and those of the company.
• Responsible for the safety and health of the employees and subcontractors, including the environmental performance.
• Liaised with industry and dredge to ensure standard proceedings.
• Performing daily routine inspections on dredging related equipment .
• Using maintenance service manual to order parts, trace and solve faults.
• Following equipment production rate and the operators efficiency up to reach the optimum level.
• Monitoring operation of plant and dredger, making necessary adjustments and maintenance on them.
• Following up maintenance plan for all hydraulic equipment as pumps, motors, and winches.
• Periodically inspecting the dredge pump components and replacing the corroded parts.
• Responsible for technical support to the site Dredging Team and the Home Office Engineering Team.
• Liaise with the Home Office Engineering Team to ensure that Contractor queries are answered and to
provide feedback to the Home Office Engineering Team as required.
• Daily reporting to and consultation with the Project Manager, the Project Team and the Head Office on the operational activities, more in particular on the process of the works for which im responsible.
• Reporting of accidents or particular events.
• Ensure dredging compliance with the approved design, providing onsite technical assistance and
guidance on the structural design of marine infrastructure, dredging and hydrographic surveying.
• Working hand in hand with dredger crew to ensure the dredge is being maintained and working efficiently.
Job title: Mechanical Engineer I.
Location: San El-Hagar location.
Job description:
• Servicing aspiration system and blowers maintenance, checking pressure difference, dust bin level and
cleaning bag cases.
• Testing Elevators competency, belt tension, buckets shape and angle and performing greasing cycle for
moving bearing and gear box as per manual.
• E-mailing weekly report of the site & equipment technical efficiency to the Engineering sector CEO.
• Control and modify the rate of cell filling by following up with the storage department.
• Treating any noise of compressors, leaking of compressed air cycle, solenoids and gates cylinders.
• Maintaining up & down chain conveyors by checking its tension, straightening the blades, replacing the
worn flappers, greasing bearing and substituting oil level of gear box.
• Carry out the scheduled maintenance plans whether daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, and annually.
• Record any technical note in a receiving-note table from the constructing company The Arab
Contractors.
• Daily passing fire-fighting system checking the pumps, control panels, and tank filling and emptying.
• Dealing with operating system through SCADA and MCC1 unit.
• Treating some simple electrical problems as trips or S.C in the site.
• Working with our staff to maintain operation notes, leaving the maintenance shutdowns to the
constructing company due to guarantee.
• Daily working with The Arab contractors staff in eliminating operation & construction problems.
Job title: Operation & Maintenance Engineer.
Location: Tenth of Ramadan City.
Job description:
• Study the production plan, prepare requirements related to it and follow up it to achieve maximum
productivity and quality targets.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of operation process.
• Finding faults during production, handling production line stoppage and follow up on any that might arise and take the adequate actions in order to prevent any stoppage.
• Daily reporting of all tasks handled and downtime in machines.
• Performing planned and predictive maintenance plans.
• Monitor and manage equipment operation.
• Undertake effective planning and prioritization of workload wherever necessary.
• Ensure the performance of the department at its best level, in to reach the plants performance target.
• Ensure that the manufacturing process operates as smoothly as possible.
