Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible as Third Party and/or client’s representative for major oil companies /contractors.
• Duties include quality inspection, Project expedition, certification, final acceptance of pressure vessels, columns, skid-mounted equipment, steam drums, heat exchangers, valves, OCTG piping components, fabricated pipework (CS, SS CRA, GRP & GRE Piping, etc.) and structural steel.
• Participate in pre-inspection/kick-off meetings with clients, vendors, and formulate the ways of inspection with the approved inspection test plan (ITP).
• Perform various inspection activities on-site and at vendor facilities during fabrication, operational testing to confirm vendor compliance to purchase orders and specifications.
• Inspections include Material verification, review of MTC, In-process Quality checks, dimensional checks, final inspections, line walk, review of test pack, Blasting and Painting Inspection, Preservation, Packing inspection, MRB review, and issue IRN etc.
• Witness hydro & pneumatic test, attend system walk down, FAT, punch listing, final clearance & MRB review
• Witness and monitor the pressure test of the process valves, Gate, Globe, Plug, Ball valves...etc
• Monitor the performance of welders, repair welds, analyze the causes, initiate preventive & corrective actions.
• Possess sound knowledge in various international codes like ASTM, ASME, AWS, SSPC, NACE, and API.

•Responsible for carryout inspections at suppliers’ premises, to assess the compliance with contractual requirements.

•Verify the conformity of equipment in accordance with contractual requirements and purchase order.
•Issue NCR for violations and ensure corrective actions are performed as per the requirements of the approved recommendation.

•Inspect all equipment and instruments prior to Blasting & Painting and Ensure the usage of the correct procedure for the paint application.
•Witness blasting and coating activities and ensure the usage of correct abrasive materials as per the requirements in paint data sheets.
•Verify the surface profile of the blasted surface and salt contamination test.
•Carry out coating inspection and DFT verification as per the specification requirements.

• Perform incoming material inspection for the raw materials like Pipes, Fittings, Flanges & Welding Consumables and verify MTC to confirm as per project specification and relevant Standards.
• Witness and review Procedure Qualification, Welders & Operator Performance qualification and procedures.
• Verification of pipe spool fabrication based on approved isometric drawing & bill of materials.
• Carryout Welding inspection before, during and after the welding operation as per approved test plan, relevant drawing, international standard and project specification.
• Verify the orientation and ratings of valves, weldolet, flanges… etc. during fit-up.
• Day to day follow up and Co-ordination with planning department, Production & TPI Agency.
• System wise Preparation of Test Packs, which includes material certificates, welding history records, NDT reports, hydro test/Pneumatic reports, etc.
• Witness hydro test and pneumatic test, PMI & NDT methods like PT, MT & UT & Review of RT films.
• Stage-wise & final inspection of the job as per QA plan, Codes & Specification.
