Roles and responsibilities:
• Reviewing & verifying the mechanical Shop drawings and calculation to give approval before execution on the site.
• Reviewing mechanical material submittals & ensure compliance of project specs.
• Lead all inspectors to carry out site inspections and assessments as required and verify all field inspection reports.
• Supervise mechanical installation (HVAC, Plumbing, and FF) on the site to be executed as per codes, standards & project specs.
• Assisting the other engineering disciplines collaboratively to ensure the site work coordination is met.
• Communicate effectively with the relevant stakeholders and authorities to ensure their needs and requirements.
• Provides guidance, managerial, and technical recommendations to the project team & contractor.
• Manage testing, commission, training and handover of mechanical and plumbing deliverables to clients.
Key Accomplishments:
• Supervise very special mechanical systems of proton therapy treatment which having 5 Proton Gantries with special support services.
• Provide solution to client regarding early operation of linear accelerator bunkers with ease possibility to connect with permanent utilities.
• 30% Slashed the energy consumption cost by defining innovative smart solutions i.e. PIBC valves, fan wall AHU, energy recovery units and variable flow chillers.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Preparation of technical bid proposal and man-hour estimations.
• Prepare feasibility studies, engineering alternative solutions and design criteria report.
• Prepare concept/base, schematic and detail design and drawings for HVAC system.
• Promoting energy efficiency and other sustainability initiatives.
• Prepare project technical specifications and BOQ of the project.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to meet the mechanical engineering design requirements.
• Verify heat load, static head, pump head and pipe/duct sizing calculations.
• Central Utility plant and Mechanical room equipment design/sizing and selection.
• Liaise with architects and engineers in periodic squad meetings for project progress & coordination.
• Client meeting and follow up for concept/schematic design approval.
• Assist the section manager as directed and supervise engineers & CAD team.
• Coordination with client, sub consultants, contractors and supplier.
