JOB DESCRIPTION AND ACTIVITIES:
Leading the Infrastructure Business Unit - Remote Infrastructure Monitoring (ISBU-RIM) Network and Related Service for the multiple project simultaneously (McAfee, Anshen & Allan, Anagran, Ringcube, IP Networks, Gensler, Logitech, BiogenIDEC, SJC Accenture, Kelly Moore and internal company)..
Handling escalation level 2 and 3 for ISBU - RIM Network Service team, Supporting LAN, WAN and N/W services across the globe on 24x7
Subject Metter Expert (SME) Role in Sri Lanka Operation, Training the entire team for processes and engineering the human resource management through Process Knowledge Tests (PKT).
Handling incident, Service, Change management and Problem management
Maintaining the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the standards.
Proactive network Monitoring, bandwidth Management and troubleshooting of our customer Indian regional Hub, European Regional Hub, Asia -Pacific regional Hub and North America Regional Hub containing various Leased Lines, MPLS link and critical Servers.
Main Technical escalation point of contact in escalation matrix.
Responsible for global entire LAN /WAN Troubleshooting support, Implementation and coordination which involve continuous interaction with National & international ISPs like Sprint, AT&T, Global Crossing, Verizon, VSNL, TATA, Airtel etc.
Providing support to MphasiS and our 10+ customers data centre containing over 300 critical & more than 4000 normal servers, 26xx series routers, 29xx, 35xx, 72xx, switches, ASA, PIX Firewall, VPN Router… etc
Providing IP telephony support to customers over four clusters globally by Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM).
JOB DESCRIPTION AND ACTIVITIES:
Administering network and domain workstations, and make sure Client PC’s are configured properly to obtain required network access and ensuring smooth functioning of the Airtel BPO operation
Installing and Troubleshooting Nortel Soft phone and Client Application support tools ICRM, PACS, Provisioning tools
Strong exposure on Windows Server 2008 Active Directory, Exchange
Responsible of Configuration and Maintenance of Nortel switches, Cisco routers and network equipments
Maintenance of Data backups and Storages and security cameras
Install, configure, and maintain personal computers, Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment, devices, and systems; adds or upgrades and configures modems, disk drives, data acquisition boards, CD ROM units, printers, and related equipment,
Responsible of antivirus and troubleshooting client side virus guard issues,
Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions with recommendations and approval from IT Manager.
