Al Fardan is one among the top fortune MNC's with it's operation, all around Middle east . As 'Network Support Engineer' , i was responsible for planing, implementation and maintenance of all IT facilities in the 'Real Estate Division' of the Group which included .
RHEL on IBM / HP Data center( with Oracle hosted on 3par SAN ), Cisco , Nortel Switches, Voice Solutions(PBX cisco, Avaya etc) and Access control Devices. ERP software including MS Dynamics, Focus and HR-Pro.
As sole POC for IT infrastructure, in addition to training and supporting help desk team in same unit, my responsibilities included all the technical coordination with other IT Departments in the group and Facility Vendors/Suppliers to confirm smooth functioning of business requirements of my group.
I had Dual Reporting line with, 'Infrastructure Manager' as my Technical and 'Operation manager' as my business Reporting Managers.
Initial Scope of responsibilities was to attend and resolve day today 'IT Help desk' Requirements from two subsidiaries(Q media Signage, Q mobility ) of Q media .
Eventually group entrusted with position of 'IT head of Systems' in a Project with Government as client .
Project objective was to implement and manage 'smart logistic solution' in University, which involved
* Working with technical team from German based 'E-mart Solution ' company.
*Close coordination with in house Civil engineers and other department's involved.
* Drafting technical inputs in documentations submitted to Government RTO
*Planing and Hosting redundant IT facilities in the Case of 'Downtime' requirements for the project.
*Reporting line was to Project manger
* Working With ERP software Implementation team from Infosys
* Hosted 4 site offices from scratch with facilities including CCTV, Voice, T&A, Print, Print servers etc to meet 200+ employee Capacity.
*Reporting to IT Coordinator .
* Attending Day to day in house IT Helpdesk calls
* Coordinating with Corporate IT Department .
* Reporting to Finance Manager
Successfully Completed three year full time Computer science degree from prestigious university BHARATHIAR UNIVERSITY in 2007 January

Attended the First paper for CCNP , in IP Routing
Attended the test to upgrade the CCNA certification got in June 2006
