My oil and gas career commenced in 2008 with a multinational company working in the field of maintenance and trouble shooting in the oil and gas industry, joined to Egyptian drilling company in the position of junior Electrician on various land rigs in Egypt, And working in the new building for cyber rigs 2000HP .
The rigs I have been involved with have been powered mainly by Electromotive Diesel and Caterpillar engines 3512 C for generation; I have experience on several different types of SCR systems, VFD systems, Cyber rigs 2000 HP
I have worked and have experience on most of the standard rig drilling equipment including, Caterpillar Diesel Engines, Kato 600 volt generators, Transformers, YASKAWA Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), JOLIET DC traction motors, AC traction motors, NOV Elmagco brakes, Varco Top Drives TDS 11 SA, Iron Roughnecks, National Oilwell MD Totco, CCTV monitoring systems, CAD BOP control systems ( PLC controlled ), NOV Baylor Draw works, Baylor Brakes, , Triplex mud pumps, Sullair Rig Air Compressors, MD TOTCO Rig sense 2.0 .
