• Provide consultancy & assist to company clients (Food Producers) in initiation, Development & implementation of HACCP as per Dubai Municipality requirements.
• Making gap analysis & Initiation of PRP (Pre-requisite program).
• Development of HACCP Manual & other documentation.
• Provide Food Safety Training, both BFH (Basic Food Hygiene) & PIC training.
• Development of training materials.
• regularly Inspect and review animals Care and health matters and activity and provide management and healthcare treatment when needed
• Develop and implement health care monitoring protocols and the needed changes in these protocols
• Assess and evaluate environment and facilities to ensure compliance with the relevant animal welfare legislation and take appropriate action to safeguard the animal’s welfare.
• Provides regular advice and training to all staff & animal handlers in matters of animal care, husbandry, procedures and welfare.
• Communicate with internal and external agencies, other animal establishments to develop and maintain effective working relationships and promote the work of the Society.
Position's responsibilities:
• Ensure quality and Safety of raw materials and finished products.
• Ensure implementation of Good Hygienic Practice ''GHP'' and Good Manufacture Practice ''GMP'' in manufacture areas.
• Monitoring and measuring effectiveness and efficiency of performance for Quality Management System QMS and Food Safety Management System FSMS to maintain systems and highlight Opportunities for Improvements OFI.
• Applying and maintaining HACCP system, reviewing HACCP plan and monitoring Critical Control Points ''CCPs''.
• Member of Internal Audit Team & Covering requirements of International Standards.
• ISO 22000-2005 Food Safety management systems.
• Promoting awareness lectures of Food Safety and Hygienic Practices for the employees who contact directly with raw materials and finished products.
Other tasks:
• A team member in Trade products section; Responsible for Receiving, inspection, analysis, storage and release of ready packed exported products for retail market "Fruits, vegetables and sea foods".
• R&D Laboratory Quality, Hygiene and document controller; with the following duties:
- Reception for customer new-products requests and writing of project proposals, intermediate monitoring reports and approved product reports.
- Contribution to execution of in-lab and on-planet trials.
- Development of new product Design Control and prototyping.
- Initiation of new Product specification and BOMs (Bill Of Material).
- Dispatching of samples & receiving of customer feedback.
- Reception, recording and analysis of received material, ingredients and samples.
- Preparation of Weekly, monthly and quarterly business reports for top management.
- Perform quality study for the developments implemented.
- Conduct competitor and marketplace analysis reports related to technology developments and new products.
- Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures and other quality and safety aspects related to R&D laboratory.
- Participation in New project initiation meetings.
- Conduct new product stability and shelf life assessment
Achievements:
• Participation in development of paperless documentation system for R&D department.
• Saving up to $ 45, 000 per year by changing in specific product packaging process in-cooperation with Formax® Forming - Provisur development team.
Others:
• Trainee microbiologist in Americana Microbiological laboratory.
