Responsibilities:

 Follow up the work and assure that it is progressing in a smooth way.
 Resolve any issues or interruptions of the work.
 Attend any meeting with the consultant, client and authorities.

- Coordinate with the Consultant to assure the implementation of all the requirements of all Authorities.
- Daily coordination of progress of works for all Packages.
- Review all Packages weekly to ensure tasks and activities are co-ordinated in line with those outlined in the project document and according to the agreed work plan.
- Review the mobilization, HS&E, planning, QA/QC, schedules, etc... of the Contractor
- Attend weekly Construction staff meetings to discuss and coordinate with other Package Managers, Superintendents and Engineers all pertinent issues relevant to the construction.
- With the assistance of the Contractor, preparation of a cash flow.
- Confirm that the Consultant is administering the Contract with the Contractor, on behalf and to the best interest of the Client.
- Schedule and chair weekly Progress and Coordination for all Contractors; discussing key topics such as Safety, Progress, adherence to Program, as well as technical issues that are potentially delaying the works. Prepare and distribute minutes.
- Attend weekly meetings with Consultant and Contractor. Maintain a copy of all records/submittals.
- Follow up on all Clients’ approvals/decisions.
- Audit the Contractor’s invoices and to ensure that appropriate accounting records are kept.
- Evaluate and approve any variation orders and any value engineering alternatives during construction.
- Report to the Client on the time and cost overrun.
- Report regularly on the progress and quality of work.
- Assist the Construction Manager with the development and implementation of the Safety Program and enforce all safety rules and regulations.
- Co-chair bi-weekly “All Packages Safety Meeting” to ensure adequate adherence to safety codes and regulations.
- Spot check material and construction is in accordance to specifications.
- Attend handing-over site visits.
- Safe keep all the manuals, spare parts, as-built, etc. on behalf of the Client.
- Coordinate the handing-over between the Contractor and Operator.
- Review the discharge letter and final invoice of the Contractor.
- Follow up on the completion of snags during the defects liability period.

Resposibilities & activities:

-To create project plan & identify the required resources as man-power, equipments, materials etc with the planning/ cost control/ project team for the proper execution of assigned projects.
-To coordinate with concerned department/personnel's in order to expedite submittal approvals, method statement approval, drawings approval etc as per the approved project plan and baselines.
-To monitor and control day by day project operations pertaining to assigned resources & work progress.
-To ensure that all the projects are being executed as per the approved HSE plan & Quality Plan (QA/QC).
-To ensure that all the allocated resources such as manpower, materials, equipments etc are fully optimized.
-To proactively manage any Claims/ Variations/ Daviations/ Extra work etc to project plan in order to safe-guard Company's interest & project objective at all times.
-To tactfully correspond/ communicate/ negotiate with clients/ consultants/ sub-contractor/ suppliers & other stakeholders as applicable order to safeguard the management/ company's interest against any penalty clause/ delays etc at all times.
- To motivate, develop & effectively manage projects teams on assigned projects & any conflicting issues between them in order to enable them to meet the project goals &baseline without deviations.
-To attend regular projects status meetings with clients/ consultants/ other stakeholders in order to discuss/ update/ highlight any conflicting issues/ performance reports with them.
-To effective monitor & control cash flow on the assigned projects in coordination with the cost control team & if required, to follow-up with the clients for unpaid invoices.
-To ensure accurate & timely evaluation/ submission of monthly payment certificates of sub-contractor/ suppliers to the finance for processing.
-To check & verify the approved shop drawings/ erection drawings in order to make sure that the project is following the last approved version.

A year and a half of experience in highway and pavement design projects in the Middle East region. These projects were of different nature as Design of expressways and highways, upgrading of existing one, design of new mega developments.
