+ Audit and review overall company procedures, Policies, and objectives in order to more efficiently identify potential risk areas
+ Identifying the key risks and control points of the system
+ Perform audit operations
+ Testing of controls using walkthrough process and sampling techniques
+ Recommending with adequate recommendations to mitigate the existing prevailing risks
+ Recommending any improvements in existing policies and procedures
+ Ensuring completeness of audit documentation
+ Identify and report the issues observed during the audit to the management.

+ Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
+ Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
+ Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
+ Assist with other accounting projects
+ Create project accounts in the accounting system
+ Authorize the transfer of expenses into and out of project-related accounts
+ Review and approve supplier invoices related to a project
+ Report to management on any opportunities for additional billings
+ Respond to requests for more detail from customers
+ Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
+ Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
+ Compile information for internal and external auditors, as required
