Embarked on a major strategic transformation to transform the entity into a regional leader in its industry.
Created and managed the Abu Dhabi franchise affiliate of RE/MAX International Inc. based in Denver Colorado - USA. Responsibilities include setting up the office, recruitment of 10 staff, deployment of technology, agency agreements with key developers and supervision of the sales team.
Reported to the CEO and was responsible for the functions of business planning and marketing and oversaw the natural gas and STP projects on Al Reem Island.
1. Organization Development
Responsible for the design of Company’s organization structure that is aligned with the corporate and divisional strategies and consistent with whole-system change including the development of company’s leadership and management systems.
2. Strategic Planning
Responsible for the establishment of 3-year corporate business plan, strategic formulation and implementation using Balanced Scorecard, investment appraisal, and corporate reporting. Additionally, I was also involved with the design of an incentive scheme to incentivise Executive leadership Team for company strategic change and Senior Management Team for achieving business (BSC) results.
3. Corporate Communication
Responsible for the formulation of strategies and policies and development of annual and long-term plans for corporate communication. communications. Enhanced the corporate image and branding.
4. Customer Interaction Centre (CIC)
Responsible for setting up a leading CIC to transform a government-oriented organization into a leading customer-center and performance oriented company.
5. Market Research & Feasibility Studies
Responsible for setting strategies and policies for market research to help transform a government entity into a leading commercial organization through extensive competitor and market analysis including customer segmentation, surveys and needs identification. Also supervised several feasibility studies for projects ranging from petrol stations to joint venture proposals.
6. Quality assurance
Responsible for design, documentation and implementation of quality systems based on ISO 9000 and Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Model. Brought a significant focus to the organization on customer and process including the development of an effective customer complaint system.
