Reporting to Global Catergory Manager, Assigned to a protofolio of 8 Criticial and startegic suppliers. Total spend of $80M with main responsabilities :
• Sets performance objectives to assigned suppliers (quality improvement, on-time delivery, lead-time reduction, cost reduction). Defines baseline, improvement targets and monitors progress through a regularly updated supplier scorecard.
• Prepares and leads quarterly management reviews (scorecards with main performance indicators, strategic positioning evaluation, 3-year business perspectives, and strategic product/market developments).
• Identifies and selects project teams for supplier development (involving Operations, Manufacturing, Sustaining and Quality) and seeks allocation of resources as appropriate.
• Ensures that that supplier capacity is aligned with the demand.
• Reviews and consolidates internal demand and arbitrates priorities.
• Prepares and manages negotiations in accordance with sourcing strategy. Ensures negotiated agreements are properly executed and complied with.
• Leads the supplier risk assessment and ensures quarterly updates.
• Communicates the supplier’s strategy and all key events of the relationship to the Category, Sourcing, Supplier Quality teams, and Geographical Supply Chain Managers. Reports deviations to plan and takes appropriate actions to correct them.
• Identifies opportunities and implements action plans to continually reduce waste.

Specific deliverables of the position:
• Supplier scorecard (KPIs, RIRs, etc.).
• Supplier development plan and roadmap (3 Year Plan).
• Supplier engagement strategy.
• On-time delivery, lead time and non-conformance improvement targets.
• Pricing and cost reduction targets.

Leading a team of sourcing professionals, managing a $2B of spend in order to develop and implement effective category management, strategic sourcing, procurement, and contracts management processes and strategies.

- Develop and monitor performance targets and scorecards for the Procurement and Sourcing functions.
- Restructured and transformed the MEA souring team from a tactical/reactive vision to a more strategic one that aligns with the Area countries strategic goals.

Some of the SCM tools implemented were: Procurement Plans, Annual Contract Plans, Strategic Sourcing & Category Management Plans and scorecards/KPI process to measure performance.

Reporting to Geo Market Supply Chain Manager with responsibilities developing sourcing strategies for assigned portfolio utilizing understanding of best sourcing practices, with the goal of sustaining continuous cost reductions and quality, service, and delivery improvements.
In charge of General Services, including, services such as maintenance, catering, waste management, cleaning, travel, housing, courier & Vehicle leasing.
1. Supplier Management:
• Obtain & analyze quotations and negotiate contracts.
• Tendering and contract reneweal.
• Locate, select and manage a high-performance supply base for assigned commodities or services.
• Create and manage supply agreements, develop measurement tools for monitoring performance ( KPI).
• Bring service orientation to building strong value-adding relationships with key customers to further collective goals.
• Resolve all quality dis, crepant material & payments issues.

2. Process Improvement:
• Create, negotiate and maintain suppliers electronic catalogues in SWPS (Schlumberger Web-Based Procurement System).
• Ensure that all the SWPS catalogue prices are negotiated and reviewed periodically.

• Create and execute queries for data analysis, performs regular data analysis.

• Manage all aspects of Procurement services
• Obtain required products/services in a timely, cost effective manner to support operations and eliminate operation downtime.
• Continually monitor, evaluate and improve supplier performance data of price, quality, on-time delivery and service.
• Coordinate work with internal customer departments to resolve all issues relevant to the supplier or products/services requirements.
• Analyze and strive to maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, availability, capacity, technology and supplier capability relative to the assigned portfolio of goods/services.

Reporting to Country Supply Chain Manager with responsibilities including tendering, negotiating and developing supplier contracts as per Schlumberger’s standard Terms and Conditions, managing the Sub-Geomarket Approved Supplier List while monitoring supplier performance and compliance with Supply Chain processes, trade laws and regulations; in addition to supervising the Travel and Internal Heavy Transportation commodities and buying activities within the Sub-Geomarket.

Reporting to Country Supply Chain Manager with responsibilities Creating and implementing a new Web Based Transportation System in Egypt, Sudan & Syria, to track and trace all our transportation movements and costs, Responsible for all related transportation issues: including searching for best suppliers, services and prices.
Auditing and managing all land transportation suppliers.

Reporting to Geomarket Supply Chain Manager with responsibilities including the implementation and rollout of Schlumberger’s Web-based Procurement System (SWPS): process mapping and integration, user training, supplier set-up and guidance, troubleshooting, reporting and analysis. including the purchase of goods and services, and the development of sourcing strategies for selected commodities achieving significant savings while focusing on service quality and delivery improvements.
