Managing and supervising the whole cycle of payroll of the organization including 800 direct employees and 400 outsourced employees.
Major achievements include:
•Preparing the whole cycle payroll budget for the organization ($450 million per annum), ensuring compliance with organization budget, personnel policies and Civil Service Law
•Managing payroll of 800 Direct hire employees governed by Civil Service Law ($300 million per annum)
•Managing payroll of 400 outsource employees regulated by Labour Law legislation ($100 million per annum)
•Responsible for building payroll system in conjunction with Department of Finance
•Reviewing monthly updated HR data of employees to payroll master file, reconciling with supporting documents and making corrections required to ensure accuracy
•Liaising with banks ensuring salaries have been transferred on time and proactively resolving any problems might arise
•Preparing accrued leave, outstanding salary, expenses and end of service benefits provision on a monthly basis and employees’ dues upon resignation or termination
•Preparing monthly reports on payroll functions to the Finance manager based on cost centres
•Participating in the annual closing with the GL section head
