The job description is Project and technical manager resident at Egypt branch. Presently I have one mega project at Arab Open University at Al-Shorouk city_Cairo. We have supported complete unified enterprise network including the following;
a- Juniper EX4200-48P switches series as enterprise access layer.
b- Juniper EX8208 switches series as distribution and core layer.
c- Juniper Firewall NetScreen-ISG1000 series.
d- Juniper Firewall SSG-550M series.
e- Complete VoIP network contacting
i- Cisco Unified Call manager cluster.
ii- Cisco IP Phones and Cisco WLAN IP phones.
iii- Cisco Gateway is integrated to PSTN through one digital E1 trunk.
f- Optical Fiber multimode Systimax cables used as 10G aggregated ether channel trunks between the cores are access switches.
g- ARUBA WLAN controller and ARUBA access points providing the WLAN networks with different privileges and QoS.
h- Security surveillance IP cameras (General Electric brand) indoors and outdoors to monitor the events as well as 2 NVR servers TVN-4004-24-4T to display and record the alarms.
i- Security access control system on all the doors and gate barriers (General Electric brand).
The job description is the main technical manager of the whole institution. I’m managing one project at King Abdul Aziz University at Jeddah Governorate. This project is to install security surveillance cameras on the wall of the university and receive the video at the analytic servers and storage servers located at the Data Center, as well as install and operate access outdoor Cisco switches, distributers and backbone core Cisco switches 4500 series to provide the network facilities. One ASA 5510 firewall has been installed and configured to secure and protect the Data Center servers and workstations. Fiber optic single mode cables outdoor are pulled to all the nodes and locations of the cameras and Cisco switches.
In addition I have designed one WiFi WLAN network (based of Cisco access points) at new hotel (20 floors) but it is still under construction at Makah governorate. This WLAN will provide the internet service to all the guests.
Job name is Network and Communication senior engineer. I’m doing design, implement and optimized Cisco unified communication projects based on Cisco solution. I managed and optimized the following projects
a- Air force of Saudi Arabian to operate and maintain (Cisco and ATM Nortel passport).
Design and implement the following projects using Cisco solution;
a- GACA project unicast and multicast applications (Cisco ISR 3845 and 2960 catalyst switch, and 2851 running IOS Firewall).
b- Design and implement GACA VSAT backup network (Cisco and VSAT SkyWAN integration Cisco ISR 3845 and 2960 catalyst switch)
c- Design and implement IMAM SAUD University in Riyadh (Cisco 6509E Catalyst multilayer switches have FWSM card, IPS sensor, 10GB Ethernet interface cards, cat6500 Supervisor Engine 720 including MSFC2 and Cisco catalyst 3750X power and switch stack access layer switch. 3750X PoE access switches).
Job name is Network senior engineer then team leader of the maintenance team for ISP Egynet and the enterprise customers. I’m specialist in ATM and FR switching technologies and all xDSL technologies specifically ADSL, SDSL, HDSL2, and GHDSL and all the associated modems which are produced by many vendors including Pradayn, Cisco, Lucent, Huawei, Eathra, in addition I’m specialist in managing and operation of many IP/ATM/FR DSLAMs including Lucent, Conklin, and Huawei DSLAMs.
VoIP system engineer and RF team leader installation and maintenance. I’m specialist in managing all VoIP system based on Cisco and GDSS GWs solutions including Voice gateways, H.323 gatekeepers, media gateways, and signaling gateways, in addition I was responsible for design, implement and manage VSAT network (VSAT plusII) and digital microwave (IP and VoIP flows Tsunami digital microwave Point-to-Point and Point-to-multipoint) as transmission facilities among the VoIP locations.
Electronics, IT, and maintenance field engineer. I was responsible for the electronics and communication cycles while doing oil well service jobs using the Schlumberger proprietary acquisition system, protocols and sensors, In addition I was installing and configuring VSAT station (NEC-TDMA/BOD solution) to provide the transmission path to transfer the well job analysis data to the owner office HQ overseas.
VSAT System and installation engineer. Specialist in designing, implementing and managing VSAT network based on NEC TDMA, BOD, and IP BOD modems and the satellite bandwidth optimization, in addition to design and implement all the integration required to connect the VSAT with premises equipment of the customers such as routers, switches, PBX, LAN.
