Preparing project quality plan and different procedures, Inspection test plans for all project activities.
Ensure that all execution and inspection are carried out as per the approved drawings and controlled latest revision of drawing are used.
Coordinate with construction department for all the QAQC related issue/requirements such as inspection and testing.
Attending weekly meetings with client representative for all related QA/QC work.
Submitting weekly inspection request status and monthly QC reports
Conduct surveillance / NCR’s inspection to verify that construction activities are in accordance with the approved procedure/method statement, shop drawing, etc. and highlight non-conformities if any.
Making sure corrective action has been done for all related Surveillance / NCR.
Making sure the approval of all the project material prior to use at site and material inspection requests has been done as per the approved materials RAM.
Follow up with third party laboratory for all reports and inspections done.
Preparing inspection requests (RFI).
Daily site inspection and periodical offsite inspection.
Conducting pre concrete Inspections on the formwork, rebar and ensures that the concrete placing, curing and concrete testing (Including Slump, Temperature, Molding, and Compressive Strength) in Accordance with Drawings and Standards.
Getting approval for concrete batching plant and concrete design mix performing Trial mix at the batching plant for the same.
Performing periodically inspection of concrete batching plant and materials along with third party witness.
Coordinate with third party laboratory for different material testing at lab/ Site.
Coordinate with third party laboratory / Inspectors for all related work including soil compaction testing, concrete testing and various test.
Ensure that all execution and inspection are carried out as per inspection plan /codes & specifications / drawings and latest version of drawing is used.
Controlling all civil inspection activities on site and submitting client of weekly status of inspection requests.
Prepares quality and inspection plan for the project construction, develop standardized inspection and testing procedures including acceptance and reject criteria.
Preparing Method Statements, Inspection check lists and inspection test plans etc. for various activities
Attending meeting with construction team and sub-contractors and company.
Necessary assistance for getting approvals from the client for day to day project works.
Ensure timely action on any comments / complaints by the client and closing of Field Observation Reports / NCRs, if any.
Ensure that all testing and measuring instruments are calibrated as per standards/ requirement.
Approving all test reports and interpretation of test results as per each project specification prior to submission to client.
Preparing method statements for different tests and conducting meetings with client and consultant for different projects prior starting.
Technical & Financial proposal for QA/QC works in field and laboratory as per each project specification including the quality plan and test schedules.
Preparing inspection and test plan for different projects after reviewing project specifications.
Practicing and Supervising All Laboratory Work (Aggregate, Soil, Concrete & Chemical and Quality Control Testing).
Preparation of Material Reports using Geo System and Excel including (Sieve Analysis, Atterberg, Hydrometer, Soil Classification, Proctor, CBR, LAT, Clay & Lumps, Soundness, Specific Gravity, Flakiness & Elongation Index, Direct Shear Test, Triaxial, Consolidation,
Electrical Resistivity Lab & Site, Plate Load Test, Structure Load Test, Concrete & Asphalt Core, Schmidt Hummer, Cover meter, Ultra sonic test...)
With compliance to ASTM, AASHTO, BS EN, MPW, KOC Standards according to spec. required.
Making Sure all Laboratory records and Instruments Calibration, Tests Procedure following the ISO 9001:2008 Quality management system.
Managing and Following up All Laboratory Staff (Engineers, Technicians & Secretaries) and Their Performance to the Required Work.
Conducting pre concrete Inspections on the formwork, rebar’s and ensures that the concrete placing, curing and concrete testing (Including Slump, Temperature, Molding, and Compressive Strength) in Accordance with Drawings and Standards.
Planning for the Laboratory equipment required and updating them.
Schedule training plans for lab. Technicians and Engineers.
Organizing of All QA/QC Third Party Monthly & Call Basis Contracts and the in charge Lab. Technicians for various projects
Making Sure all Laboratory records and Instruments Calibration, Tests Procedure following the ISO 9001:2008 Quality management system..
Soil Investigation using Standard Penetration Test and, CPT, Pressure meter and calculating Bearing capacity of foundations.
Inspection, testing and control of materials by carrying tests on the raw materials to insure compliance with the specifications.
Inspection of batching plant.
To perform asphalt inspections and insure that the asphalt
complies with the specifications and the desired job mix.
Inspection of field asphalt tests.
Construction of Batching Plant Foundations- Batching Plant Kuwait
Make sure of the foundations locations as per the drawings and checking the survey axis.
Monitor site labors to complete the work as per drawings & specification.
Make sure of the steel reinforcement, anchor bolts as per drawings and specification.
Make sure concrete delivered to site as per requirements and the required tests (Temperature, Slump test, Cube Molds for compressive strength).
Prepare periodically reports on the progress of work as per plan schedule.
Inspection, Testing of Natural Ground and carrying laboratory soil tests.
Inspection, Testing of Aggregate and carrying Tests to insure compliance with the specifications.
Inspection of Proctor test and determining optimum moisture content and max. Dry density.
Inspection of field compaction test on soil using sand cone method.
Inspection of Concrete cube tests & slump tests on concrete.
Inspection of laboratory concrete tests
