Quantity Take-off Measurement for various works (Civil & MEP)
Preparation & analyzing of budget and cash flow.
Conceptual and elemental estimation.
Certifying subcontractors’ invoices & preparation of payment certificates.
Attend work inspection in site to certify subcontractors’ work.
Negotiate with suppliers & subcontractors to ensure rates are within budget line.
Performs purchase requisitions for the projects and reports any irregularities or discrepancies to the project management.
Performs and implements all post contract duties including but not limited to measurements, preparation of variations orders, interim valuation certificates, final accounts & evaluation reports.
Prepare and update material procurement schedule, material status and sending to management.
Works very close with the project team to ensure that measurements, variations and contractual matters are properly recorded and notified.
Previously, I worked in SEA SHORE ENGINEERING & CONTRACTING W.L.L., Al Khor, Qatar as Estimation Engineer from 02/01/2011 to 19/07/2013. Here I have done various projects including Oil/Gas Maintenance Projects - Residential & Commercial Buildings, Towers, Villas, Warehouses, Road, Water line, Drainage, Pump station, Micro tunnelling & other infrastructure projects.

Preparation of Commercial Proposals / Project estimation.
Cost analysis (Direct Cost/ Indirect Cost)
Taking off measurement for various works (Civil & MEP)
Study the tender documents for understanding the scope of work & tender requirement.
Preparation of technical deliverables & full fill the tender requirement.
Participate in pre bid meeting, Site inspection, post contract meeting & kickoff meeting.
Read and understanding of tender document before tendering and reporting to Management.
Ensure timely submittal of tenders & quotations.
Checking news paper, client’s web site & E-mail alert for New Tenders & report it to Management.
Prepares cost estimate for different phase of the project, advices the project management on possible cost over runs and on the action necessary to remain within the approved project budget.
Review the program of work for submittal.
Evaluates quotations obtained from different suppliers & subcontractors, ensures quantities and specifications are in line with tender/ project requirements.
Check & make correction in Auto CAD drawings for submittal by coordinate with draftsman.
Preparation of subcontract/ supply agreement.

Documentation and Record Keeping.
Check site readiness, workmanship and site dimension as per drawing.
Taking off measurement.
Obtain suppliers’ quotations.

Check the Bills of contractor.
Preparation of interim valuations.

In the field of Quantity Surveying and Construction Economics at the British College Of Applied Studies (BCAS Campus), Sri Lanka (Obtained over all merit) Engaged In Training Session Provided By the British College of Applied Studies and Obtained A DISTINCTION at the Final Assignment of the TRAINING Session Have obtained over all Merit in BTEC HND (Level 5) in Quantity Surveying (EDEXCEL International) at the British College of Applied Studies.
* General Certificate in Education (GCE) - Advanced Level 2008 Results: Obtained over all Pass in Science.
Diploma in Computer Studies, and obtained Over all Merit Pass at Computer Business Systems (CBS).
