Steering complete cost control operations for the projects such as:
- Preparation of project forecast report in quarterly basis, monthly cost reports, demobilization plans, presentations for higher management, subcontractors back charge reports, material wastage reports and project cash flow for ensuring strong financial management.
- Preparation of cost to complete of particular scopes after major subcontractors withdrawn from the project.
- Responsible for the budgeting and cost management of the project to ensure that the budgets are controlled before the cost commitments made.
- Preparation of preliminaries cost for Extension of time (EOT) claims of delayed projects which caused by the client.
- Review the subcontractor’s payment certificates/ purchase order and assign cost codes for them based on the cost code structure of the respective projects.
- Performing analytical reviews and checks of cost reporting documentation and presenting cost status and forecast updates to the Project Management.
- Monitoring cost and assets and ensuring budget compliance.
- Preparation of cost analysis reports for manpower and subcontractors to identify the overrun costs.
- Fixed asset verification for tracking the company assets.

- Preparation/ responding of contractual letters, corresponding letters and notification letters for the subcontractors, client, consultant and project management.
- Review and submit the interim payment certificates to the client and follow up and update the cash in progress of the Interim Payments.
- Preparation & evaluation of variations based on instructions from the client, plus maintain the proper backup documentation for variations with all required information and update the variation log with all comments & figures to date.
- Finalization of the main contract agreements in the beginning stage of the projects.
- Preparation of subcontractor’s agreement (Supply/ Workmanship/ Supply & Install/ Service etc.) and variation orders for additional works of the subcontractors.
- Preparation of back charges of the sub-contractors and update to finance.
- Preparation of Sub Contractor’s payment certificates and handle the issues with them in a professional way.
- Preparation of monthly report, rough estimates based on the requirements.

- Preparation of subcontractor’s payment certificates, such as: rental equipment, supply invoices, installation works etc.
- Site walk through to get the measurement for payment purposes.
- Support to senior quantity surveyor in the time of processing the interim payment certificates to client.
- Handle the proper backup documents for subcontractor’s payments.
Involved Projects:
Student Center at SEUSL
- Preparation of monthly interim bill, sub-contractor & supplier payment certificate under the supervision of Sr. Quantity surveyor & project manager.
- Checked the works progress against the BOQ with Planning Engineers & Sr. Quantity surveyor in order to prepare the monthly progress reports.
- Take off the measurements if any variation notified & preparing all the backup documents which are required.
- Attend the consultant meeting with Sr. Quantity surveyor.
