Establishing and keeping up a monthly demand planning cycle, which includes monthly rolling order predictions, promotional projections, and performing plausibility checks before uploading in an ERP system.
•Planning and executing the validation of the sales projection (demand review and S&OP)
•Providing a detailed prediction for all regular items.
•Ensuring that the predicted valuation matches the budget data from the Finance department.
•Determining the needs based on the prediction, then regulate the purchase orders accordingly.
•Analyzing and keeping an eye on regional stock levels.
•Reviewing high priority and concentration on making sure that the supply is continuously monitored and that appropriate stock levels are secured
•Taking Proactively monitor E&O stock reduction initiatives
•Build up future stock levels in order to foresee any necessary corrective action.
•Discussing and taking decisions with the sales departments right away if there is a significant departure from the original prediction (change of availability, risk of stock out, shipment issues etc.)
•Taking decision-making process for product distribution and prioritizing if the product shortages.
•Initiating S&OP meetings and teamwork between the commercial, operational, financial, and other support teams and monitoring KPIs for prediction accuracy and customer service
•Enhancing the performance of the whole supply chain, plan, create, implement, and monitor global best practices.
•Driving continuous improvement by employing KPIs, tools, measurements, and systems to achieve best in-class performance. Developing plans to reduce costs year by year.
•Keeping track of and comprehending the corporate financial metrics that control adjustments to departmental operations.
•Monitoring daily all carrier performance to make sure outbound orders are delivered to clients within the SLA.
•Looking for alternatives to accelerated freight and making sure that the use of containers for the various deliveries is maximized.
•Managing cross-functional work groups to eliminate the underlying reasons of ineffective customer supply chains and out-of-stock situations (OOS).
•Implement efficient fulfillment methods and offer a comprehensive viewpoint on fulfillment in accordance with the company's business plan.
•Reviewing internal/external feedback on operational issues and develop a prompt and effective action plan
•Monitoring performance metrics (KPI s) to understand service and efficiency trends within assigned customers and identify opportunities for improvement.
•Helping in building business relationships with all customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.
•Defining and rolling-out a PLIP (Performance Linked Incentive Plan) for depot staff. Accomplishments:
•Analyzed freight cost (inbound and outbound) and brought savings of $2 million per year by optimizing, consolidating, and digitization sales and purchase order processes.
•Saved $200K per month by consolidating sourcing on direct material.
•Improved on time customer order delivery from 57% to 83% by improving availability of the inventory from supplier.
•Saved $500K annually by consolidating sourcing and moving on direct material to customers.
•Designed, configured, developed and automated, Available to Promise (ATP) process which helped customer service team to provide better inventory levels and delivery dates.
