Responsible for overseeing field Construction works carried out on behalf of ISG Operations, Modification and Maintenance team.
• Take an active role in ensuring that strict adherence to HSE aims and objectives (In accordance with Project Safety Execution Plan, Golden Rules, etc…)
• Perform site HSE Safety observations and safety conversations (SO & SC)
• Prepare Task Risk Assessments for construction, activities.
• Review and sign all Permit to Work as area authority for Construction activities
• Conduct PTW Audits, Stop and report any unsafe practices.
• Supervising and performing inspection examinations for all construction activities in accordance with company procedures, contracts, specifications and relevant standards.
• Provided quality assurance and controls to the Construction contractors/subcontractors activities in all phases of the project.
• Ensuring that all Contractor’s/subcontractors QC personnel/supervisor are screened and verified their competency in accordance with their education, training & experience
• Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Reviewed/Prepared WPSs, Monitored PQRs and Witness destructive test related to WPQT.
• Performed visual inspection of completed weld and Monitored all contractor welders qualification
• Supervised and monitored site & fabrication shop welding activities of CS, DS, SD and SS
• Witnessed magnetic particle & dye penetrant test and Radiographic film interpreter
• Supervised gathering system HSS coating and Inspected of sand blasting surface profile, painting/coating application of structural steel
• Coordinated and witnessed Flowline & header pigging, cleaning and gauging activities
• Coordinated and witnessed pipe spools/pipeline, gathering system and well pad hydro-testing activities
• Checked materials reception and review of Material Test Certificates
• Maintained the Quality file records system (WPS, PQR, WQT, VT, RT, MT, PT and Pressure reports...)
• Prepared and reviewed final handover dossier and signed GOC Certificates/mechanical completion handover packages
Responsible to ensure the correct application of the Quality Plan in Welding and NDT activities on Pipeline, Piping and Tanks and the coordination of the Quality Control Plans implementation
• Prepare and review of QA/QC documents including ITPs, QA/QC procedures, method statements and NDE procedures
• Witnessing of welder qualification testing and procedure qualification testing
• Supervise and monitor all Welding activities, Heat Treatment inspections and Non-destructive testing
• Supervise inspections, reports and the documentation issued by inspectors
• Coordinate with Material Management Team to check materials reception and review of Material Test Certificates
Responsible to supervise the quality actions at site for construction activities and ensure that quality rules are respected by contractor.
• Review Contractor’s fabrication, test and inspection procedures and plans
• Perform inspection and testing on all construction contractor activities
• Review WPS and witness the PQR and welders Qualification
• Supervises inspection reports and documentation issued by inspectors
• Review of material test certificates and Control the calibration certificates of measuring equipments used on the project
• Issue Weekly and Monthly reports on QA/QC activities and inspections.
• Analyze and resolve problems emerging during the Quality Control activity
• Inspect & Monitor Non-Conformance reports and Corrective Action Requests
Prepare and review Quality Inspection and test Plans Prepare and participate in the Quality kickoff meeting Prepare and Perform Quality Surveillance for project activities as project requirement (welding and NDT Process, Pipeline work, Piping Installation, Painting and Coating, Hydrotest, Tank Erection, Civil Construction, Structural Steel Erection and Material Storage).·
