➢ Tanta Oncology Hospital \{Budgeted Total Cost: 02 Billion EGP\}
➢ Nuweiba Central Hospital \{Budgeted Total Cost: 01 Billion EGP\}
Responsibilities:
• Review and check the contractor’s work program during the pre-construction phase, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Review, comment, and follow up on the finalization of contractors’ submittals, including staffing proposals, organization charts, shop drawings, method statements, project procedures, traffic management plans, etc. during the pre-construction phase.
• Support the verification and communication of project scope baselines, including goals, deliverables, and success criteria to relevant stakeholders.
• Provide input on the development of project risk management plans, including the identification of potential risks and corresponding contingency plans.
• Monitor project schedules and investigate reasons for delays with contractors and recommend corrective measures.
• Monitor contractors’ daily activities and resource allocation against the project plan.
• Support with reviewing, assessing, and responding to all claims raised by the contractor regarding scope, schedule, and cost changes of projects and assist with the management of variation orders with clients and contractors, as needed.
• Support with the review of contractors’ unit rates for new work items not covered in the original Bills of Quantities.
• Monitor project progress and support with the management changes in the project scope of work with clients and contractors, as needed.
• Track and check the versions of drawings and specifications and ensure that all relevant parties are using the latest revised construction drawings.
• Develop periodic project progress reports and highlight deviations from the work program accordingly.
• Support with the review of contractors’ payment certificates.
• Provide input for the preparation of invoices for supervision services to clients and support local Finance teams with the collection of invoices, as needed.
• Support with the preparation and issuance of Take-Over Certificates, Defect Liability Certificates, Final Accounts, and Statements of Completion, as needed.
Projects:
➢ Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology \{Budgeted Total Cost: 15 Billion EGP\}
Responsibilities:
• Supervising and managing the construction process.
• Overseeing the work performed by contractors on-site.
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Managing quality control and health and safety standards.
• Preparing site reports as necessary.
• Conducting regular site visits.
• Providing expert advice on civil engineering issues that arose during the construction process.
Projects:
➢ MIDOR Refinery Expansion \{Oil & Gas\}
Responsibilities:
• Supervising infrastructure works such as underground pipes, sewer pipes, and electrical pipelines.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sustainability policies and legislation.
• Collaborating with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective completion of the project.
• Conducting site inspections and providing technical guidance to construction workers.
• Preparing reports, schedules, and project plans to ensure the smooth running of the project.
Projects:
➢ Various Construction Projects including Schools, Villas, and Residential & Commercial Towers.
Responsibilities:
• Oversaw and managed daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications.
• Supervised contracted staff, ensuring that project packages met agreed specifications, budgets, and timescales.
• Provided technical advice and solved problems on-site, ensuring that technical designs and drawings met the required specifications.
• Prepared site surveys, and reports, and logged progress while ensuring that health, safety, and sustainability policies were adhered to.
• Organized materials, ensured that sites were safe and clean, and authorized technical drawings and engineering plans.
• Inspected materials provided by suppliers and subcontractors, negotiated with suppliers and vendors, and prepared cost estimates.
• Diagnosed and troubleshooted equipment while providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement.
• Ensured that appropriate materials and tools were available, contributing to the success of various construction projects.
