Job description:
•Identify and specify all H.S.E. requirements aimed at protecting human life and avoiding environmental impacts.
•Coordinate the site emergency plans, elements and requirements, and perform simulation for different emergency types as injury, fire, and radiographic source leakage.
•Furnish technical assistance on H.S.E. problems.
•Check subcontractors’ application of all specified H.S.E. requirements, rules and regulations.
•Implements bid decisions, proposals, and estimates (scope constraints, schedules, budgets) with respect to integration and compliance with ES&H requirements.
•Hold weekly site HSE meetings with the concerned parties during the construction stage and record minutes of meetings.
•Prepare and issue H.S.E reports and records as well as ensures issuing of subcontractor’s reports.
•Apply continuous site activities supervision, direct solutions for easy problems, and others are discussed through the weekly meetings.
•Hold the work permit system for diverse types of work (hot-cold-excavation-RT)
•Perform regular HSE audits on different activities, firefighting equipment, site areas, accommodation, environmental regulations, and welfare necessary preparations.
•Check periodically subcontractor’s/company equipment according to standards and company rules.
•Investigate accidents/incidents as required and issue reports accompanied by the required corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.
•Regenerate and regularly update the H.S.E. instructions as required.
•Issue, update, follow up implementation of HSE plans and related documents
•Hold HSE meetings with subcontractor as well as client and attend construction progress meetings.
•Hold and follow up Permit to Work System Hold, update, and follow up master action register (these corrective actions coming from near miss reports, audit reports, client recommendations, site and camp regular inspections)
•Prepare and implement HSE training system to raise the awareness.
•Maintain and follow up periodical equipment inspection reports
•Assure and keep register for the required 3rd party certifications (lifting equipment, lifting gears, operating licenses, Radiographic operations requirements, driving licenses, competency certificates for riggers, scaffolding technicians, scaffolding supervisors and inspectors)
