• Report to Managing Director the undergoing projects in Middle East area especially with key clients in UAE, KSA, IRAQ, and Oman (i.e. GASCO-DEWA-ADWEA-SEC-IFC) leading a team of project managers with key targets to possess and keep our potential customers with Orders of 1.2 Billion US$ for GTOEM and GTOOEM businesses.
• Working with Products Centres in Europe, U.S.A, and Middle East to execute EPC, and Field Services Projects implementing the know-how for upgrade of Combustion systems for Gas Turbines frames (i.e. 5B, 6B, 7EA, 9E, 9FA, V84, V94, GT13, GT26) to enhance emissions for NOx below 10 ppm, and CO below 5 ppm in ISO Base Load conditions.
• Participate in Business Unit Strategic Planning, and supervision of tendering teams for the under bidding projects.
• Report to General Manager / Program Manager and supervises all Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Planning activities and status of Rafha Power Plant #2 Project as a Lump Sum Turn Key project (LSTK) of a value of Six Hundred millions Saudi Ryal, which consists of two new Siemens GTGs with all B.O.P, relocation of two G.E GTGs with all B.O.P, and new 132 KV Substation.
• Directs all suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors’ progress, invoicing, and management of integration process of all project activities to maintain effective completion and acceptance .

• Report to Project Manager all Construction activities and status of Al-Ain Al-Sokhna Supercritical 2*650 MW Thermal Power Plant project and Supervision of different Construction and Engineering disciplines staff., and Directs execution of project construction, and organize and train project staff.
• Approve the construction procedures used on the project, to coordinate the review and approval of the procedure with the project manager, and the owner.
• Monitor and update project management plan, coordinate master schedule implementation and contract’s interface.
• Maintain the status of change notices, potential amendments and claims, and Engage and oversee the input of engineering department
• Report to Project Manager all commissioning and operation activities and status of Kureimat II&III 2*750 MW CCPP project and Supervision of commissioning and operation staff
• Review and comment all the Commissioning, Start-up & Operation Procedures and Systems P&ID's and co-ordination with Engineering Department if needed, Prepare and distributes start-up progress reports and Establish Performance and Acceptance Test Procedures.
• Supervision of Commissioning and Start-up of the power plant equipment such as Gas Turbines and associated auxiliaries, HRSG's and Steam Turbines including all relevant activities.
• Assists client relationships and is a focal point for communication with the client at the site.
• Coordination and Administration of the Contractors OFF-Shore & ON-Shore Training Programs and Coordination of the Contractors Supplied Spare Parts approval issues.
Plant Description: Phase 1: Combined cycle consisting of 3x100 MW Gas Turbines (G.E), 3 Waste Heat Boilers (KHIC), 4 Desalination Plants (28 MIGD), 2 Auxiliary Boilers and 1x58 MW BPST.
Phase 2: Combined cycle consisting of 2x110 MW Gas Turbines (G.E), 2 HRSG (Italian Combustion Engineering), and 1x112 MW Steam Turbine.
Job Duties:
1- Operating and follow up of various systems of plant from the Control Room during normal operation, start up, scheduled shut down, and emergency shut down including main components such as Gas Turbines, Waste Heat Boilers, Heat Recovery Boilers, Turbine-Generators, and Transformers & also Operating and follow up of auxiliary systems of the Plant.
2- Observation and dealing with any unexpected or abnormal conditions in the plant and maintaining safe and efficient conditions for personnel and equipment by execution and follow up of work safety procedures.
3- Adjustment and applying Safety Work Permits through MAXIMO System for equipment to be checked by maintenance groups.
4- Performing daily, weekly tests and change over for various systems equipment.
5- Management of work between field operators and making periodic reports about their performance.
6- Training for Junior Engineers and Graduates.
Plant Description: Thermal Power Plant consisting of 2x2063 Ton/Hr MCR Natural Gas/Heavy Oil Fired Steam Generators (Babcock&Wilcox), and 2x627 MW Steam Turbines (G.E).
Job Duties:
1- Operating and follow up of various systems of plant from the control room during normal operation, cold start-up, hot start up, scheduled shut down, and emergency shut down and all services systems according to operating procedures and instructions.
2- Observation and dealing with any unexpected or abnormal conditions in the plant and maintaining safe and efficient conditions for personnel and equipment by execution and follow up of work safety procedures.
3- Adjustment and applying Safety Work Permits through EMPAC System including isolating of different components of equipment to be checked by maintenance groups.
4- Dealing with different subcomponents of various systems and equipment such as (circuit breakers, filters, actuators, accumulators, solenoid valves, control valves, dampers, flame detectors and scanners, fuel oil heat tracing, power distribution panels, battery chargers and UPS).
5- Operating and follow up of Hydrogen Production Plant and all its components such as (electrical analyzers, KOH system, hydrogen compressors, vaccum pump, storage cylinders, mist eliminator, filters, and dryers).
6- Applying periodic test including start up, operation, and shut down for Auxiliary Boiler, and Emergency Diesel Generators used in black out and absence of fuel gas.
7- Dealing with different fire fighting systems and performing periodic tests for checking availability and reliability of all their components in case of fires (automatic wet pipe system, spray water system, pre-action system, foam system, FM-200 gas system, alarm local panels, and portable fire extinguishers).
8- Performing daily, weekly tests and change over for various systems equipment.
9- Management of work of local operators & making periodic reports about their performance.
1- Dealing with National Electricity Control Center (NECC) to keep stability of plant and power grid.
2- Monitoring and reporting equipment and systems conditions during normal operation and abnormal cases.
3- Performing daily technical reports for plant efficiency and availability.
1- Estimation of pricing for under bidding Electro-mechanical projects including material supplies and execution work cost breakdown.
2- Technical offers, materials submittals, and commercial evaluations preparation
3- Quantity surveying& General pricing studies preparation for piping, static equipment, rotary equipment, insulation and painting, steel structure, and any special equipment erection studies including complete pricing breakdown and cost of supervision and site facilities.
4- Follow up of technical & financial reports for under execution projects to assure cost to be within project curves limits.
5- Planning & Scheduling for under bidding and running projects.
Project: Alexandria Specialty Petroleum Products Company (ASPPC)
Scope of Work: Mechanical Equipment and Piping Erection
1- Installation of various static equipment such as tanks, vessels, heat exchangers, and weighbridges.
2- Installation of various rotary equipment such as centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, and vertical pumps including final alignment.
3- Installation of miscellaneous equipment such as mixers, agitators, and special equipment packages.
4- Execution of piping erection work including workshop fabrication, field installation and routing (C.St, St.St, G.St, PVC, PP, PE, GRP, and Victaulic piping) with complete familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM codes, standards, and practices and full conversant with P&IDs and isometric drawings.
5- Fabrication and Installation of special and standard pipe supports according to specified data sheets.
6- Execution of Hot/Cold insulation work for piping and fittings.
7- Execution of Painting work for piping, tanks, and other equipment.
8- Performing preliminary and final tests for all systems including flushing, hydrostatic tests, and pneumatic tests.
9- Commissioning and start-up for all plant mechanical systems.
Project: Banha Maize Milling and Mixing Plant
Scope of Work: Electro-Mechanical Erection
1- Installation of main storage silos, bucket elevators, screw conveyors, chain conveyors, vibrators, grain crushers, and miscellaneous equipment.
2- Installation of pneumatic (Flowmatic) piping system.
3- Installation of Aspiration system equipment and piping network.
4- Execution of all piping work including fabrication, erection, painting, and insulation.
5- Commissioning and start-up for the plant.
Project: Sharm El-Sheikh Seawater Desalination Plant
Scope of Work: Mechanical Erection for main suction lines of plant from the Red Sea
1- Fabrication and installation of two polyethylene main suction lines
(24 inch DN, 1650 mt. each) using the updated techniques and welding technology of George Fischer.
2- Co-ordination with main contractor and consultant to solve any unexpected executive problems.
