1- Operating and follow up of various systems of plant from the control room during normal operation, cold start-up, hot start up, scheduled shut down, and emergency shut down and all services systems according to operating procedures and instructions.
2- Observation and dealing with any unexpected or abnormal conditions in the plant and maintaining safe and efficient conditions for personnel and equipment by execution and follow up of work safety procedures.
3- Adjustment and applying Safety Work Permits through EMPAC System including isolating of different components of equipment to be checked by maintenance groups.
4- Dealing with different subcomponents of various systems and equipment such as (circuit breakers, filters, actuators, accumulators, solenoid valves, control valves, dampers, flame detectors and scanners, fuel oil heat tracing, power distribution panels, battery chargers and UPS).
5- Operating and follow up of Hydrogen Production Plant and all its components such as (electrical analyzers, KOH system, hydrogen compressors, vaccum pump, storage cylinders, mist eliminator, filters, and dryers).
6- Applying periodic test including start up, operation, and shut down for Auxiliary Boiler, and Emergency Diesel Generators used in black out and absence of fuel gas.
7- Dealing with different fire fighting systems and performing periodic tests for checking availability and reliability of all their components in case of fires (automatic wet pipe system, spray water system, pre-action system, foam system, FM-200 gas system, alarm local panels, and portable fire extinguishers).
8- Performing daily, weekly tests and change over for various systems equipment.
