ERP Project is one of the USAID projects aim to develop and
reform the Education technique in Egypt. It consists
geographically of a HQ office and 7 branches in 7 Govs. with
28 server and networking devices in the IT Unit.
Responsibilities &Tasks:
Tasks related to the IT Team
Manage and follow up with the IT Team/Unit in the HQ
and the other project branches as well as building the
IT team and recommend them by interviews.
Check the computer system health for the head office
and all governorate offices performing the daily tasks.
Review the system and security logs for any security
incidents.
Keep the system up and running all the time as much
as possible.
Update the system with the necessary updates that will
keep the system up and running smoothly.
Maintain the anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-malware,
firewalls systems
Maintain a disaster recovery plan that will assure the
data is safe and intact and retrievable at all times.
Recommend any new procurement related to the IT
unit.
Oversight the computer system in all offices
Tasks related to the IS Team
Provide a reliable connection between the Head office
and the 7 governorate offices that will allow the IS team
to transfer and exchange the database transactions
easily, smoothly and efficiently.
Maintain the users permissions and essential
authentication mechanisms that will allow and permit
the IS users in the Head office and governorate offices
to perform their assigned tasks in the most efficient
and secure manner.
Technical representation of the IT Services offered by
the project to the Ministry of Education and the other
project external zones.

General Management.
Building up the IT team and ensuring that the IT Unit
always has all required specializations and coordinate
between them to achieve the required tasks.
