Procurement Sector
- Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Sourcing and engaging reliable local and overseas suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
- Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
- Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
- Raw materials Strategic planning as needed for each dept.
- Establishing the procedures of procurement dept. processes to avoid factory disruption or suspension.
Store Sector
- Monitoring stock levels and place orders as needed.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff & QC. to ensure proper storage.
Dispatching Sector
- Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
- Coordinate between Fabrication, batching and production, dispatching Depts. To ensure the timely delivery process to customers.
Responsibilities and Achievements
oMaintain, update and administrate information on electronic and hard copy procurement suppliers’ files.
oMaintain and update the list of approved/preferred suppliers.
o Research and review price discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
oManage suppliers including but not limited to achieve cost savings via vendor selections assist in the reviewing and developing favorable contract agreements in addition to addressing and resolving delivery and billing problems.
o Ensure Requests for Quotation for suppliers are performed documented and accurate.
o Audit part quotes for both current and potential suppliers.
o Administrate Requests for Quotation process including the compilation of packages, receipt, tracking of documents, analysis of responses and set-up suppliers’ files.
oMaintain approved suppliers list including their information related to raising purchase orders and administer assigned categories and product codes.
o Collaborate with administrative support in maintaining the inventory storage and the inventory database on a regular basis.
o Ensure the right products are delivered at the right time, the right place and at the right price.
o Perform and carry out other duties as instructed/directed by the commercial & Procurement Manager.
