Managing an annual purchase budget of EGP1.2 Billion including both CAPEX & OPEX through 4 sections “Raw materials & packing, Indirect procurement, machinery & spare parts & Logistics. • Put improvement plan for all activities based on actual stand, managing implementation & ensure plans are within the time frame. • Conducting RFQ/RFP for key categories, negotiating prices & terms with new/existing, domestic/foreign suppliers, subcontractors & service providers to accomplish lowest total cost of ownership. • Developing an up-to-date validated supplier database supported with a list of backup suppliers to secure continuous supply. • Implementing strategic procurement i.e., sourcing strategy, vendor/supplier selection and evaluation, supplier quality management. • Developing logistics management methods to better control shippments & reduce shipping cost. • Ensure shippments arrival in the right condition & manage claims to suppliers/forwarders/brokers otherwise. • Cooperate with cross functional departments to apply sound principles that serve business needs and secure smooth business flow. • Supporting merchandising team lower the COGS by sourcing new suppliers & eliminating third party involvement. • Building & lead teams, implement recruitment, teaching & development strategy & targets for the department. Recruit, coach, develop & appraise supply management team to ensure the teams are well trained & motivated.

• Developing a robust network of an alternate domestic & foreign suppliers base for most commodities in order to minimize the overall supply chain costs.
• Managing supply budget by tracking monthly spending & budget utilization to contribute to company profitability.
• Managing suppliers’ claims & monitor penalties to them.
• Reviewing all current payment terms & develop them according to the Co. best benefit i.e. Credit line & dynamic discounting.
