 Briefs the staff on the job hazard analysis as per appendix C of the OH&S manual and ensure the staff is aware of the Risks pertinent in their activities.
 Coordinates for training and updates training records and evaluates the training received by the staff.
 Interface with auditors as delegated by line manager and substantiates compliance vide safety, training and other Documentation.
 Takes the lead for fire drills and evacuation plans in the absence of the warehouse manager.

Reviews and assigns the delegated tasks for the day, received by the Shift Supervisor onto the Warehousemen

• Reverts with suggestions, on any probable clashes and evinced constraints in schedule to the Shift Supervisor.

• Provides back up for the Shift Supervisor in the event of his non availability
(prolonged or brief) in matters of coordination with the Scheduler, the Warehouse Manager and Ops Cell.
• Interacts with the drivers, should further verification of their credentials and the shipment, be required. Reviews their documents for anomalies.
• Monitors the warehousemen activities minutely and ensures capture of time taken and staff involved per transaction and SKU as the case may be Provides detailed report on this to the Shift Supervisor on the TOS.

* Scope & Responsibilities:

 Ensure the inventory accuracy according to the company policy and procedure.
 Implement the daily cycle count on a timely manner.
 Daily handling and adjustment the negative on hand.
 Ensure store achieve the shrink target by proper implementation of the SOP.
 Ensure the sub inventory accuracy (sales, display, damage, DRTV).
 Advise Store Manager of potential security risks and major shrink issues.

 Open batch and count items on daily basis according to monthly cycle count schedule or spot check request.
