My colleague has some personal problems so they send me instead of him for 2 weeks.
• Operate the mail system ( Exchange2010 ) create new mail boxes and control the quota of the mails, also control the activity of the mail box
• Operate the Blackberry server create new users, control the policies of the users, generate Enterprise codes and configure the Blackberry device.
• operate the spam system
• operate the active directory
• Encrypt the data on the laptops by kasperSky Encryption safeboot
• Secure the devices by Lumension .
• Encrypt the data on the USBs by Lumension
• Support users in their daily work (Video conf., Mail issues, Citrix issues, windows issues, printer issues, network issues)
• Install and configure the new machines.
• Support the Asset management users in the Asset management System (APX-MOXY)
• Install and configure new (Advent Product)environment for Test and DR
• Create scripts and macros on the APX.
• Administrate APX and MOXY.
• Troubleshoot the problems of APX and MOXY and follow up the cases with the Advent support.
• Update all the SAN switches with the last firmware.
• Connect the SAN switches to each other then connect them to the Director to meet the EMC requirements.
• Monitor the Backup system (HP openview storage Data protector) including the sessions, the tape library, the pool, backup succeeded or not, Devices and Media, Internal database and troubleshoot the problems)
• Document the Backup jobs with its status, the statistics of the backup, client statistics and IDB size report.
• Installing New Backup system and configure it to recover the corrupted backup system.
• Monitor and manage the data center AC (Air Condition) and configure it to send emails and its SNMP to send the events.
• Achieve the plane of the backup and monitor it for smooth operation.
• Participate in the project of Active Directory Risk Assessment Program (ADRAP)
• Monitor the Qlogic HPA interface to insure the smooth operation of the fabric (SAN Networks)
• Hardening the H/W (Servers - SAN SW - AC units - UPS) and S/W (windows - Linux - Data protector )
• Configure SNMP in all devices (AC unit - UPS - Servers - Enclosures - Blades) to meet the security policy and for monitoring.
• Participate in the implementation of the DR ( Disaster Recovery ) project.
• Develop a standard documentation forms to be used for technical documentation
• Develop and maintain a technical documentation for all Information Systems activities
• Administer, collect, update and maintain all statistics and information related to system operations.
• Responsible for the implementation and operation of Linux business critical systems.
• Follow the opened cases with the HP support for the H/W and S/W and document it.
• Install the HP Data Protector agent on the Linux and Windows machines.
• Document all servers with its names, IP address, Subnet, Gateway, ILO IP, H/W Model, OS, Enclosure, Switch Port, physical place, Username, Joined to domain or not, Serial Number and Data backup in Excel sheet.
• Update all drivers on the servers
• Update all the patches for the HP products
• Daily check to the datacenter room which include \[Temperature sensor, Smoke detector, Fire fighting panel, water Leakage panel, DB servers and Storage, Infrastructures servers and Storage, test environment(servers and storages) \] and UPS room which include \[UPS of servers, and users, cylinders\]
• Update the firmware of the servers in the Datacenter to meet the requirement of the EMC
• Problem analysis and troubleshooting.
• Servers Backup.
• Administration of Linux / Windows 2003 machines
• Keeping the company service up and running and up to the framework of our Service Level Agreement (SLA)
• Disaster recovery / system failure preparations.
• 24X7 on call schedule.
• Testing new tools and technologies.
• Maintain the proper usage for all IT equipment by the users.
Network and System Engineer
• Monitor the BW, temp, HDD, CPU load and memory for the Network devices and servers.
• Monitor the traffic of VPNs, MPLS, ADSL and dialup sessions.
• Monitor security vulnerability

Linux system administrator
• Dealing with Unix as AIX and different linux Distributions as Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat Enterprise, Fedora, Mandrake and Suse.
• Linux : File System Management, Network Configuration, RPM and Kickstart, User Administration, Troubleshooting, Organize Network System (DNS by BIND9), Network File Share Service (NFS, FTP and SAMBA ), Electronic Mail Services (Sendmail, Postfix ), The HTTP service, Security Concerns and Policy, Authentication Services, System Monitoring, Securing Networks, Services and Data
• Proficient with HTML, Apache, PHP, MYSQL and Bash Scripting .
• Troubleshoot the mail server as postfix and client as Outlook .
• How to communicate with non-technical personnel to support him with technical information and be on call support .
• How to be Successful Instructor
• Manages multiple servers and workstations to ensure proper integration of these components
