1- Review the Design drawings and calculations, checking the design as per specification and industry standards, tracking the major FEED deviations, verifying the design construct-ability.
2- Work with the discipline engineers for the civil structural related aspects
3- Review the Material & Material Approval Requisitions, including the Material Take Off, Scope of supply, and Technical requirements.
4- Review the Vendors Technical Bid Evaluation, including Vendors Compliance, and Technical deviations.
5- Manage the civil interfaces with the subcontractors and vendors.
6- Check the 3D models (BIM & CIM) with the design for integration, evaluating the design approach, and the construction / design interface concerns for improvement.
7- Check the results of design optimization and Value engineering for the civil structural related aspects.
8- Participate to the workshops for review, following up, and coordination by management and client.
Through the company Buildings, Civil, and Infrastructure projects, the below-listed responsibilities shape my daily routine.
1- Acting Technical Manager / Closing-Out Manager
2- Supervise the drafting team, coordinating the In-House shop drawings preparation.
3- Mange the Subcontractors structural packages including rebar, and Hollow core slabs (Calculations & Shop drawings).
4- Review the In-House & Subcontractors technical deliverables including shop drawings, calculations & As-Built drawings.
5- Provide the design calculations, verifications, and proposals to support the necessary design changes for optimum operation.
6- Prepare the necessary Technical Queries.
7- Respond to the Subcontractors Structural Technical queries.
8- Support the site to overcome the technical difficulties/construction deficiencies.
9- Prepare the necessary technical packages to support site operation/management strategies.
10- Follow up & coordinate the In-House & subcontractors technical deliverables submission & approval with consultants.
11- Support the project control departments as per the management instruction, and work needs.
I was a Structural Engineer, leading a team of draftsmen, and works with the engineers concerned mainly in developing the design drawings, calculation reports, shop drawing, method statements, providing technical support to the project engineers clarifying the their concerns and resolving the project engineering problems .
Other tasks have a study, evaluation, and /or optimization aspects for the structural models and other technical issues, in addition to the engineering contractual issues, and supporting the proposals in the preparation phase .
Projects mainly are Oil & Gas, Housing, Power Plants, and substation projects .
Acting Technical Office Manager in West Damietta Power Plant Project 500 MW, mobilized the technical office in the Project's early stage .
1- Coordinating the projects’ civil - structural design activities
2- Design & review the subcontractors technical submittals,
3- Producing the shop drawings In-House leading engineers & Draftsmen to deliver it right on time .
4- Design development & follow up with the designer, and consultant,
5- attend the meetings,
6- Construction works technical support, and
7- Managing the engineering interface with suppliers & other departments .

Post Graduate Diploma equivalent to Master of Engineering Degree . There is a project concerns Analysis of a High Rise Building . Its Grade is ( Excellent ) . The General Grade is ( Good 77.4 % ) .
Civil Engineering B.Sc. with grade ( Pass 63.5 % ) . Graduation Project on Structural Analysis Design for Covering systems , Retrofitting systems for buildings ,and Vertical and Lateral Analysis for a high Rise Building , The Grade ( Excellent 98 % )
