Coordinate Health, Safety and Environment programs at KUFPEC, requiring application of HSE principles and concepts, to prevent or correct unsafe environmental working conditions. Advise, support and ensure that concerned departments in maintaining safe working conditions in their respective units take necessary steps.
• Plans and coordinates the development, training and implementation of an effective environment management, pollution prevention and control program.
• Providing direction to the development of policies and procedures, reviewing drafts and obtaining management approval.
• Supervises and participates in environment risk assessment inspections and audits to ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies, internationally accepted standards and government regulations.
Assists in the development and implementation of a comprehensive and effective environment management and pollution control program. Includes the development of policies, standards and pollution response procedures: carrying out risk assessment inspections and audits. Ensures that all environment management program meet the highest international standards and Government regulations.
· Comparison and evaluation of different treatment / recycle technologies for oily wastes/sludge, and evaluation of different technologies for handling, disposal and treatment of regulated medical (infectious) waste.
· Preparation of technical and commercial proposal for oily sludge through centrifuge and thermal adsorption processes.
· Contributing to business development through exhibitions, presentations and seminars on the application of environment friendly technologies.
· Assistance to Project Management on Projects involving treatment / recycle of oily waste for clients Like Saudi ARAMCO, SABIC, SAMREF.
