Project Name: EPC for Bab Integrated Facilities Project (BIFP) - ADNOC Onshore
Overall Project Description: Part of Bab Field Expansion Projects intends to increase crude oil production from the current production rate of 1.4 Million Barrels Oil per Day (MMBOPD) to 1.8 MMBOPD.


Job Responsibilities:
Performing all Deputy Manager Mechanical department functions as required. Reporting to Project Manager.

• Manage and coordinate construction projects from conception to completion.
• Supervise and manage various Mechanical, Piping & Pipelines Engineers during various phases starting from Detail Engineering to Commissioning Phase.
• Interface with other departments for coordination of projects requirements.
• Prepare Execution Plan for Mechanical and Piping works.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Head project and construction meetings with various disciplines.
• Participate in verifying the actual work executed by subcontractor for payments processing.
• Prepare interface management plans, Identify potential risk areas and prepare mitigation measures.
• Ensure that the actual project schedule and construction schedule target dates are in line with planned dates, highlight areas of concerns, and propose mitigation measures.
• Evaluates projects performance in all functional areas.

• Review contractual documentation for definition of battery limits between different parties.
• Provide technical and managerial support for various disciplines with regard to projects requirements.

• Supervise and manage various contractors e.g. Project Management Consultant (PMC), General Engineering Services (GES), EPCC & PCC contracted for Early Production Facilities Projects during various phases starting from Conceptual to Operation phase.

• Preparing Work Program and Budget of Facilities Department. Monitor and Manage the Execution of the planned Work Programs and Budget. Evaluates projects performance in all functional areas.

• Review projects documentation for definition of Battery Limits, Tie-in Points and Equipment/Facilities Shutdown Requirements.

•Prepare interface management plans and Interface Matrixes, Identify Tie-in Points and Shutdown Requirements, review and approve Tie-in List and Tie-in Method of Statements including Hot Tapping and Coordination of Shutdown Procedures including Safety Measures.

•Interface with other related departments in the company for coordination of projects requirements.

•Prepare overall Execution Plans for new identified projects and in the preparation of technical Scope of Work as part of the ITBs Contracts for various Packages and Company’s Supplied Items (Long Lead Items).

• Coordinate the collection and dissemination of technical information between/within company departments and Engineering Contractors and LLIs Vendors/Suppliers.

• Head projects and construction meetings with various contractors.

• Ensure that the actual project schedule and construction schedule target dates are in line with planned dates and highlight areas of concerns and propose mitigation measures.

• Provide technical support for various disciplines with regard to project technical requirements.

• Active participation in Factory & Site Acceptance Tests (FATs & SATs), Risk Assessment Sessions i.e. HAZOP, HAZID and other related design and construct-ability studies.
