The project scope also consists of the construction of a tunnel linking adjacent Doha Convention Centre and reinstatement of Corniche road, with a total built up area of 291, 500 m2

Job Responsibilities
• Client Representation: Chair regular Planning meetings with internal and external teams (Consultants, Contractors etc.) for project tracking and progress review. Provide updates to Client on all aspects of the project progress and Liaise with Client for critical decisions as required.
• Project Management: Establish KPIs for Consultants and Contractors and monitor the same. Assess project Stakeholder's performance.
• Interface Management: Ensure coordination and interface among various project packages. Liaise and coordinate with Authorities, foresee and resolve conflicts with project interface and surroundings.
• Construction Management: attend regular site visits and relevant meetings as required; follow up Contractor and Consultants plants and resources to ensure milestones achievement. Recommend necessary measures to avoid delays and record/monitor pending issues.
• Design Management: Monitor design changes in line with scope, schedule, quality and budget.
• Cost, Claim & Contract Management: Monitor the process of Interim Payment Applications, Variations, Extension of Time claims in line with project budget and Contract Terms and Conditions.
• Review/analysis and make recommendations on the project execution strategies and all submittals from the Contractors related to Engineering, Procurement and Construction work programme submissions including progress measurement, reporting, time analysis, resource loading, critical path, productivity and Work break down structure.
• Review and validate value of work done claimed by consultant/contractor and assess and endorses contractor/consultant invoices
• Evaluate claims on EOT and make appropriate recommendations to the management for approval, prepare documentary files for future reference and negotiations and resolutions of claims,
• Coordinate with contracts department on issues and strategies related to variations and disputed claims.
