JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning, organizing and controlling all activities of HR department. Participating in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
Implementing and updating compensation program, rewriting Job descriptions as and when necessary. Conducting annual salary surveys and developing merit requirements as per salary budget.
Consulting with line management, providing guidance related to HR when appropriate.
Analyzing trends and metrics in partnership with the HR colleagues to find solutions for ongoing issues.
Conducting weekly meetings with business unit managers and subordinates.
Providing guidance thru conference calls to HR colleagues who are working in other countries.
Managing and resolving complex employee relations issues. Conducting effective and thorough employee investigations.
Maintaining legal requirements related to routine management of employees in order to reduce legal risks and to ensure regulatory compliance.
Analyzing compensation, monitoring the performance evaluation program and revising as and when it is required.
Developing and administering various HR plans and procedures for the entire employees of the company.
Developing, recommending and implements HR policies and procedures.
Performing benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies to improve the cost-effectiveness and cash flow.
Conducting recruitment effort for employees including temporary workers. Preparing JDs to place advertisements; working with Business unit managers to screen and interview candidates.
Conducting reference checks, extend job offers; conducting new-employee orientations, monitoring career-path program and employee relations counseling; conducts exit interviews.
Establishing and maintaining HR records and reports. Participating in administrative staff meetings and attending other meetings, such as seminars.
Evaluating reports, decisions and results of department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommending new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of HR department and services performed.
Ensuring compliance with local statutory law as well as US business code of conduct.

• Lead a team to develop Job Description templates for each grade, which have been used and linked to HR database to determine promotions. Grades have been used as ladder to promote employees to next level/s within the same hierarchy.
At this time, there was no HR department in Saudi. So, all the HR functionalities were handled by me and my team.
Responsible for Administration, HR Processes, Office management, Information Technology, Logistics and management of Real estate services like employee accommodation leases, office leases and vehicle leases.
During this period 1 Government Relations Manager, 6 Public Relation Officers (PROs), 2 logistics assistants, 2 HR assistants, 1 admin assistant, 3 drivers and 1 IT administrator were reporting to me.
Managed all the HR activities, including hiring, terminating, talent management, handling employee issues, payroll processes etc.,
Managed 3 servers with Win 2000 O/S and around 200 PCs and laptops.

• Developed Chemical database in Lotus Notes for BJ Services, Saudi.
• Developed local HR Database for BJ Services, Saudi by using Access 2000 in the year 2000.
