• Working directly with the design director to develop concepts and detailed designs for big and mega scale architectural projects in the gulf area.
• Manage, mentor and teach junior staff to produce drawings and designs according to local codes and international standards, and train them on different drawing and presentation software.

all design presentations and technical drawings and reporting to the design manager.
• Helped increasing team productivity by 50% by assessing every individual in the team in terms of
strengths, weaknesses and interests to better organize and distribute projects, responsibilities and
tasks.
• Helped improving productivity and functionality of the whole organization by acting as the middle
man between the management and the rest of the team through weekly meetings, which helped the
design manager and other management members focusing on more important things. Handling
small to large scale turnkey projects for the design department reporting to the design manager,
and medium to large scale core and shell projects for the development department reporting to the
chairman.
• Achieved spectacular facade designs and execution by innovating and developing new glazing
and cladding techniques using available local resources with the help of vendors and contracting
engineers to achieve unprecedented high end projects for the development department.
• Incorporated new visions and expertise by introducing and co-founding international internship
program that hosted many interns from Switzerland, Ukraine and Italy.
• Slashed payroll/benefits administration costs by 30% by negotiating pricing and fees, while ensuring
the continuation and enhancements of services.
• Helped keeping fresh and updated library with the help of the commercial department manager by
finding new young furniture manufactures such as USM, where eventually the company was able
to cut deals with some of them to become their distributer in Egypt.
• Improved the speed of project completion by taking the step ahead of coordinating the designs at
an early stage with different disciplines, both in house and outsourced, to avoid major conflicts at
the later stages of the projects.
• Acting as Design Manager several times due to the high rate turn over for this position, during,
I have successfully negotiated and landed several new projects for the design department with
prospect clients.
• Helped improving the design standards for office buildings for the development department by
thoroughly studying and researching the latest methods and studies done by other international
parties and similar projects, and establish new guidelines for this specific type of buildings,
regarding project components and its correlated percentages, zoning, orientation and circulation
to help produce more environment friendly buildings, increase productivity in the office spaces,
and achieve high rates of comfort and happiness for users.

• I was a part of the architecture department, where I have participated in the design development
and working drawings of mega projects in the gulf area, such as K9 building at Al Ain and a high
rise mixed use building at Jumaira Lake Towers in Dubai.
• Helped tutoring fresh grads and junior architects on how to develop the design to comply with
safety regulations and country code while keeping the qualities of the concept design.
• Achieved parametric quality AutoCAD drawings by introducing block systems for the repetitive
units in plans, elevations and sections.
• Helped in improving the quality and functionality of BMU systems by researching and sourcing the
best vendors with the latest technologies in the field, and finding the system that best fits every
design.

• Handled various types of interior design projects within the design team, mainly retail design projects
for famous brands such as US POLO ASSN. and Adidas, also worked on hospitality, commercial
and residential projects.
• Helped improving the overall quality of renders for the whole organization by tutoring the 3D
visualization team on the vray tricks regarding shading and lighting techniques to achieve more
realistic renders.

various projects.

• My first introduction to the world of construction while working as a site engineer at Al Rehab 1, 6th
phase, groups 19 and 21 villas, core and shell.
• Developed my skills of site management, and how to organize the work and how to overcome any
obstacles while being within the time frame.
• Improved my understanding of the relationship between construction documents and actual
construction process.
• Learnt the tricks of how to fix and improve the quality of execution during the consultant inspections.
• During this year, I have managed to gain the trust of the project manager as I have been responsible
for more than 50 ongoing units, after initially being responsible for 1 unit.
