Our journey started with catering towards the export-oriented apparel industry in Sri Lanka. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Maintenance of General Ledger and Accounting records and reconciliation of the same.
•Preparation of Invoice, Petty cash vouchers and maintenance of Petty cash float and ensuring all vouchers are posted to general ledger.
•Monitoring payable and receivable review and finalize monthly collection reports
•Maintaining bank transaction/ bank reconciliation statements, Profit and loss accounts.
•Prepare consolidated Comprehensive Income and monthly closing and cost accounting reports and reporting to Finance Manager.
•Comply and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transaction.
•Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.
•Prepare, Analyze and review budgets and expenditure to compare with actual and make appropriate recommendation
•Liaison with statutory bodies, such as Dept of Inland Revenue, Board of Investment and Custom Dept to ensure that comply with rules and regulations.
•Preparing VAT Sales return, SVAT sales return & Export sales return monthly basis for government statutory.
•Preparation and submission of monthly sales and other statutory reports to Board of Investment of Sri Lanka (BOI) and Sri Lanka Customs.
•Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend appropriate budget levels, and ensure expenditure control.
•Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.
•Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.
(The Ajman based Aims Group is the 100% ownership by Ajman Government & Ajman Municipality planning Dept, which is of Umbrella Organization contains 7 division's Are contracting, Asphalt production, Waste Management, Recycling & Landfill, Health & hygiene, , Real estate & nursery. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
•Monitoring & Handling of day to day transactions and accounting entries of the Business such as Invoicing, Sales Vouchers, Petty cash Vouchers, Purchase & Payment Vouchers and Bank Reconciliation.
•Preparation & Presentation of Various Management Report, Statement of Comprehensive Income & Statement of Financial Position on Monthly & Early Basis for reporting to the Group Finance Manager.
•Planning the Annual Audit & Participating the Annual Audit procedures of the Division & Corporate level.
•Experienced in Analysis of Financial Statement, Costing, Budgetary Controls, and Petty cash Managements, and Project Managements & Cash Flow Managements.
•Preparation & Submission of quarter VAT returns with the reconciliation of VAT Input & Output for government statutory.
•Develop the annual operating Budgets and consult with Division Head & Management on the fiscal aspects of program planning, salary recommendation, and other administrative action
•Ensured the Business complies with all relevant internal controls, Inventory controls, Industry regulations and government legislation.
