• Develop and drive the strategy of AEG Bahrain in line with the global governance programs/frameworks and meet with up to date regulations. Align AEG services to help banks to recognize their digital transformation direction on an efficient strategic manner
• Lead continuous information security annual audit and risk assessment activities for many key banks' complex IT environments according to CSCF with mapping to ISO 2700x, NIST, PCI DSS industry standards, highlight identified compliance gaps and risk areas to respective banks, develop personalized project/action plan to secure solid deliverables.
• Draft Information Security polices for banks in accordance with governance programs and frameworks
• Banking key IT projects lifecycle management for different areas like SWIFT migrations, Core Banking Integrations, IT Security, Customized SWIFT Software Developments, DR Replication, Business Continuity
• Gathering requirements, mapping with governance programs, developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, stakeholders’ communications, and milestone status report for banks in Bahrain and Kuwait with a wide exposure to different banks IT infrastructures designs
• Manage 24/7 IT operations and SWIFTNet connectivity stability and reliability through AEG gateways for most of the key banks in Bahrain
• Manage technical team that capable to support sensitive and critical ongoing daily operations for different banks’ complex environments and meet strict SLAs, also to ensure that RCAs are completed for all high severity incidents preventative actions are defined and implemented
• Develop and deploy Process & Controls, along with tools that monitor their ideal functioning for AEG Bahrain
• Led regional technology relevant projects for the company’s Middle East partners,
also supervised integration aspects for key regional clients over MENA region
• Drove regional centralized Core System project development and deployment for
Middle East partner
• Developed automated workflow cycle that impacted all of the company’s processes, enhancing the quality of solutions, as well as, improving the performance and reliability of the organization regional partners and representatives
• Attend global technology exhibitions/roadshows to keep up to date with latest technologies
