•Ensure the efficient and effective purchasing of all La Poire’s goods and raw materials, with regard to price, quality and stock levels.
•Maximize opportunities of seasonal fluctuations and special offers.
•Maintain efficient administration system, with appropriate documentation to achieve effective control.
•Fully conversant with the computerized stock system.
•Ensure all relevant staff is fully trained to use the system.
•Ensure that all goods received are of the quantity and quality specified in the original order. Where discrepancies occur, appropriate action should be taken.
•Ensure that all purchasing personnel are, at all times aware of the importance of the need for security, if and when responsible for the good.
•Maintain an efficient stock rotation procedure.
•Achieve a consistent and well-controlled documentation system with regard to receipt and issuing of goods.
- Manage emergency situations on case-by-case basis to ensure optimum value recovery to the company.
- Initiate saving ideas in terms of alternative sourcing and keeping record of the quarterly saving value.
- Update the purchasing procedure related to technical & general goods.
- Communicate with International Henkel suppliers related to Technical purchasing to provide the best
purchasing mix in terms of specs, prices and general conditions.
- Support and motivate the Technical and general purchasing team to fulfill their functions and help to
qualify them as potential purchasing supervisors.
- Responsible for all strategic negotiation activities
- Handling the following brands: Dunhill, Mont Blanc, Gucci, Christian Dior, MCM and Henkel.
- Carrying out market surveys to assessment the demand, competition & price.
- Setting retail prices beside, checking the stocks & sales monthly.
- Preparing the annual forecast for own agencies.
- Organizing annual training courses for salesman.
- Allocate monthly sales targets for salesman & areas.
- Finding new brands to introduce it to the market.
