In this project I used to replace the microwave backbone network for the National Energy Control Center (NECC) by new digital microwave links supported by PDH multiplexers. I also used to handling the integration of PDH multiplexers with several customer systems and handling the end-to-end service paths. This project covered more than 40 MW links around Egypt and deployed on 4 phases.

2. Egyptian Military - SDH optical backbone network:
My role was installing, commissioning and testing the SDH multiplexers for the optical fiber backbone network owned by the Egyptian military, this upgrade covered PDH tributaries, SDH tributaries, EoSDH & GEoSDH.

3. Telecom Egypt - Remote fiber test system:
This project was to provide Telecom Egypt a RFTS (Remote Fiber Test System) that automatically detects optical fiber faults (cut, pend, losses & splices), diagnose the problems and correlate to GIS. My role was doing full installation and operation for the RTUs, optical switches, DWDM multiplexers, software application, OS-UNIX and Oracle database. This system applied on dark fibers, SDH, DWDM and GPON networks

4. Egyptian Electric Holding Company - NECC SCADA infrastructure upgrade:
This project was rehabilitation of existing National Energy Control Center (NECC) SCADA access network for RTUs at the different electrical generating facilities and transformers plants. My roles were configuring the PDH multiplexers at DS0 level cross-connection and integrate with the different NECC Infrastructure networks.

5. Great Cairo water Company - SCADA system:
My role was handling the microwave & VHF systems that support the communication between the control center and 80 RTUs distributed in different water treatment plants & boosters among Cairo. I used to integrate between the communication systems (MW & VHF) and different SCADA subsystems such as SCADA server and RTUs through different SCADA protocols such as Modbus and DNP3.

6. Egyptian Electric Holding Company - NECC Power Line Carrier Demo:
This was not a project just two trial PLC links for the National Energy Control Center (NECC). I was fully responsible for this demo.

7. Khalda petroleum company - Wellhead control system:
In this project my role was implementing the VHF system that handle the communication between the control center and the wellhead control skid RTUs in the Egypt's western desert gas wells. I shared in installation of more than 15 skids.

8. OOREDOO (Qtel formerly) - Network Inventory system:
My role was design the logical and physical models for the NGN, FTTX, NGDLC, Microwave, SDH, TETRA, Earth Station technologies. And configure them on the inventory application
