1. Breakdown repairs of company fleet, repairs of company fleet, including repairing of all types of equipment ranging from Earth moving, Handling & Lifting, Electrical and Air pressure equipment, heavy and light duty trucks, vehicles
2. Plans workshop activities for overhauls and repairs of all major components of equipment, supervises a variety of technically complex repairs, servicing and modifications work.
3. Ensure preventative maintenance and repairs of all equipment to minimize downtime.
4. Coordinate vehicle & equipment inspections on a regular basis to comply with safety standards, by preparing inspection reports to be retained in the relevant equipment history file.
5. Supervising in all phases of lifting plans, maintenance records, and reports.
6. Ensures that all staff subordinates are suitably trained/ qualified/licensed for the various tasks and jobs they must complete.
7. Ensure site compliance to all labor, safety, and environmental regulations, safe and sufficient use of construction plant site taking good care to work within the parameters of the equipment, in particular to site limitations as outlined in construction plant hand book and relevant manufactures performance manuals as applicable.
8. Control of plant project stores, procurement of spare parts and consumables required for plant operation, Maintains a stock of fast moving parts and ensure that inventory levels are in store to meet work demands.
9. Develop and maintain strong working relationship with vendors, suppliers, and field managers

Breakdown repairs of company fleet, including repairing of all types of Equipment ranging from air compressors(up to 2000 cfm), generators(up to 800kw), welding machines, Handling& Lifting equipment (cranes up to 200 tons, Forklifts up to 20 tons, Man lift), Concrete equipment (batching plant 30 CMH, cement silo 50t, concrete pumps, truck transit mixtures), Road equipment(S/prop. Chip spreader, Soil re-claimer/mixer, Scraper, Truck bit/distributer and track paver finisher, Crusher plant up to 250TPH \{primary, secondary and tertiary\} ), heavy duty trucks(low beds, flat trailers, tipper trucks, articulated dump trucks), Heavy equipment(Bulldozers, Excavators, Loaders, Graders) , pipe line equipment, passengers(vehicles and buses), site facilities and nonstandard equipment
