SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS:
To support the National Director & the Country Program Manager in ensuring that effective security measures for the National Office programs are both appropriately planned for and addressed within the national context. Lead in the optimization of organizational security and the mitigation of operational risks for ministry effectiveness by establishing security systems and mechanisms for institutionalizing an organizational culture and practice of safety and security.
Major Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning
• Develop and implement the National Office security strategy in alignment with WV security policy so as to ensure the operational priorities of the National Office are appropriately supported.
• Ensure Security Risk Assessments, Country Risk Ratings and Core Security Requirement standards, processes and procedures are completed in accordance with current Office of Corporate Security guidelines and training .
• Provide leadership/ management of the security focal person’s in country.
Security Operations
• Carry out Security Risk Assessments as required/directed.
• Country Risk Ratings are established and updated as required
• Ensure Core Security Requirements are implemented in line with Country Risk Ratings
• Provide input and support to management in crisis situations and critical incidents.
• Conduct security investigations when required.
Networking and External Liaison/Engagement
• Represent WV at local NGO security network meetings and ensure information from these groups is disseminated to relevant staff.
• Build ongoing networks for sharing security information and coordination
Capacity Building and Technical Training
• Coordinate the assessment, development and implementation of the national office capacity building plan for security management based on local security risk assessments.
• Seek to develop a culture of security awareness and monitor staff compliance.
• With necessary support, conduct security training (fire safety, first aid, security awareness etc.).
Reporting and Documentation
• Provide a regular security report to the National Office, region and office of corporate security.
• Ensure that all security incidents are reported in accordance with WV Security Policy.
• Conduct performance reviews of the field-based security focal persons.
• Collect, analyze and disseminate security information appropriately.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS:
Major Responsibilities:
• Ensure the conduct of security assessments in the area and establish the protocols necessary for the realization of potential projects.
• Management of the minimum security requirements in accordance with instructions issued by WV.
• Assist the Technical Operations Coordinator in the organization, execution and safety awareness of national and international staff.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the Security Training Plan.
• Assist in training national and international staff in:
• Individual and collective security in accordance with WV's collective security requirements
• Management and risk assessment Design of a safety briefing adapted to the area
• Creation of an early warning system
• Rapid evacuation planning
• Implement emergency replacement strategies (hibernation).
• Affiliate to the existing security network in the area for coordination with local authorities, security forces, NGOs concerned with security and establish an information-sharing network.
• Assist the Technical Operations Coordinator in working more closely with the Chief of Security who is managing the growing security situation in the country.
• Ensure the conduct of periodic and rapid security assessment missions in project expansion areas to prepare the operational environment and update security documents.
• Preparing and sending incident reports to the Security Authority, Regional Security Manager and Global Security Office in consultation with the National Director when possible.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Represent the Company; Identify and negotiate investment opportunities.
• Investigate and solve issues to enhance client satisfaction; Ensure guards are fully operational (alert and equipped) to deliver professional 24/7 security services. Handle payments for all junior staffs.
• Implemented weekly reports and follow up with Operations to resolve identified issues.
• Participate in weekly management meetings and advise on actions for quality improvement. Troubleshoot challenging cases.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Created an inventory system for stock availability and management.
• Implemented a safe and effective transfer and delivery of sales goods to customers.
• Established and managed client relations and satisfaction system that kick-started rapid growth in the company.
• Caused direct increase of company profits by 35% in 12 months due to policy created by me.
• Oversee the company’s accounting including daily balancing.
SPECIFIC RESPONSABILITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Train & supervise all the staff at the Port Autonome de Conakry.
• Due to the system and procedures I created, revenue evasion was slashed by 48% in 8 months which was a prominent catapult for the company profile in the sub-region and consequently rest of the continent.
• Devised a system of communication and directives for all staff on cross-checking procedures as well as ensuring that all information is submitted to the head office in London according to policy and procedures.
• My system was incorporated by the company and was subsequently implemented in other facilities around the globe.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate information in the whole Scanning Facility.
• Regular update of virus protection software for all computers also back-up all computer files on a weekly basis.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Ensure that images are inspected thoroughly and document’s information corresponds with the image.
• Control traffic entering and exiting the Facility whilst ensuring that all trucks are in good conditions.
• Profile truck drivers for control and security purposes.
• Maintain regular communications on operations status for reporting to Facility Supervisors.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & ACHIEVEMENTS:
• English, French, Arabic interpretation and translation of communications training classes as well as Communications and Driving manuals.
• Training a team of 45 military personnel as to how to operate and program HF radios.
• Train different teams as to how to mount HF radios on trucks, jeeps and cars.
• Follow up on training to different countries exp. Chad, Niger, North Sudan, South Sudan, Guinea Conakry, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco.
• Coordinating and transporting different logistics to different countries.
