Processes and Tools Specialist (IPM)

NSN is a multinational company owned jointly by Nokia Corporation - Finland and Siemens AG - Germany. The company undertakes turnkey projects for most of major telecom operators worldwide for supply and installation & commissioning of telecommunication networks.

 Worked under the regional PMO pool and handled projects for South Africa (RSA Vodacom) and rendered support to the project teams

 IPM/EPM is an electronic project management suite development and marketed by NSN to monitor the project progress from the tendering phase until the project closures.

 IPM covers all the aspect of project which includes commercial, technical, material, documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• To manage and support deployment of the PM related processes and tools
• To ensure the IPM suite being correctly understood and monitor the update those are done periodically by the internal users, customers, stakeholders, subcontractors.
• Assist the PM in preparing the project implementation schedule and coordinate the same with project leads and procurement department
• Assist the PM in collecting data for Risk management tool (N-Risk Tool)
• Collect and record data on change requests (CRs) and also provide the mitigate plan.

Managing IPM Suite

• Maintain user accounts and access rights in the PM Tools
• Maintain and guide users on data management and provide End user training
• Gather and manage requests for tools support (incidents/change/Problem)
• Communicate system changes to user community
• To provide support to process owners, business owners, and development teams in unit, entity, functions basic process development and management
• Monitoring the data consistency
• Contribute and assist users on the site acceptance by providing all necessary documentation
• Record all project risk for overall project management
• Conducts audits on Implementation processes and provide supporting documentation
• Educate and encourage all users to become more collaborative and contribute in the IPM suite

Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain local, global and project documentation related to PM processes and tools
• Create project reports based on specifications from project users
• Record the KPI metrics on Project Implementation and periodically report to the Regional PMO
• Coordinate all activities related to the Document Control Procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondences.

Project Management Coordination

• Prepare Minutes of Meeting, Register Action Points and follow up the Action Points till closure
• Coordinate QA / QC activities for the site assessments and follow up the corrective actions

• Prepare positive list as per the Network Element (NE) and Installed Base (IBASE) from the live network
• Coordinate with internals and customer for Faulty Unit (RMA) Order Processing
• Track and follow up the Sales Order with the Logistics
• Coordinate with Customs Clearing Agent for delivery of spares and arrange delivery to customer
• Provide supporting documents to Customs Clearing Agent, such as catalogues, approval letters
• Verify the arrived materials as per the Bill of Quantity, Packing List and Sales Order
• Verify Invoices for Care Manager approval and forward to Finance for payment process
• Attend monthly review meeting with customer and internal teams
• Prepare Inventory List, KPI Reports and maintain the Delivery Accuracy within the metrics
