Web site: http://www-instn.cea.fr/en/the-institute/institute-presentation/about-the-institute.html The INSTN, Institut national des sciences et techniques nucléaires (National Institute for Nuclear Science and Technology) is a public higher education institution administered by the CEA (French Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission) under the joint authority of the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, the Ministry of the Economy, Industry and the Digital Sector and the Ministry of the Environment, Energy and Marine Affairs. The INSTN delivers highly specialised academic and continuing education programmes focused on nuclear sciences and techniques used in the energy and health sectors. The Institute offers attractive top-level training courses that meet the needs of socio-economic stakeholders in the nuclear sector. These include: initial and work-study training programmes jointly organised with academic and industrial partners recruiting students with Baccalaureate to Bac+4/5 level qualifications (national diplomas, vocational certificates and degrees, institution-accredited diplomas); continuing education programmes, mostly in French, comprising 38 training schemes and 240 inter-company courses, including individual professional certifications; tailored intra-company training courses in French or English upon client request (research organisations, large industrial groups, SME/SMIs, institutional players, transport companies, hospitals, laboratories and pharmaceutical companies, etc.). INSTN programmes meet the training needs of a wide audience, from students in initial education, apprentices, jobseekers, employees and those returning to studies or those undertaking retraining or reskilling, etc.
