•Ensure projects execution within schedule, budget and to client’s satisfaction
•Track all project deliverables and report progress to department head
•Coordinate project activities involving several different subcontractors

•Liaise and co-ordinate with the End User Representatives, purchasing departments and HSE mangers
•Track and maintain all project related documents in a well organized and shared document control system
•Arrange for site visits, products inspection and issuance of final project acceptance letters
•Arrange and attend frequent progress and coordination meetings with projects managers, department head and local and international partners and subcontractors
•Review local and international purchase orders and track subcontractor invoices
•Leading estimating team and reporting to chief estimator
•Complete project cost estimation starting from quantity take-off to final pricing
•Reviewing project specifications and municipal standards related to design
•Project planning and scheduling using Primavera P6, MS Project and MS Excel
•Bid preparation and final review of direct and indirect costs with estimation team, chief estimator and project director
•Developing project materials budget, staff charts and equipment schedules
•RFP preparation and review for subcontractors’ bids/work plans
•Soliciting quotes and leading negotiations with existing and prospective suppliers
•Arranging and participating in site visits in order to plan and strategize construction phase
•Review change orders and expedite the preparation of new estimates accordingly
•Analyze estimated Vs. actual data and recommend adjustments to Production Rates and Man-Hour Factors for future projects
•Liaise and coordinate with Health & Safety Managers as well as Environmental Manager before, during and after the estimation and planning process
•Communication with owner’s engineer/designer (RFI preparation)
•Lead and minute quantity comparison meetings with estimating team as well as joint venture/partnership estimators
•Prepare slide shows and presentation boards for brainstorming meetings, bid reviews and quality control presentations
•Preparing long term work plans and short term work packs
•Assist safety managers and environmental managers in the preparation of job hazard analysis and environmental hazard analysis reports
•Performing design checks and constructability issues analysis
•Frequent communication with design team (RFI preparation)
•Completing quality checklists, quality incident reports and non-conformance reports and discuss findings with QA/QC personnel and the client’s engineers
•Coordinating field work with quality control team as well as third party inspection
•Communicating with the surveying team and explaining design and required layouts
•Daily meetings with superintendents and labor foremen to discuss current work plans
•Perform all pre and post concrete pour inspections and ensure compliance to design and quality standards i.e. rebar, formwork, survey layout, embedded metals, curing
•Attending daily coordination meetings with construction manager and other project teams
•Attending and reporting in weekly schedule meetings
•Reviewing concrete team weekly costs and discussing production rates improvements with construction manager, superintendents and discipline lead in the weekly Labor Distribution Report meetings
•Develop materials budget and coordinate with cost control engineer during preparation of monthly cost reports
•Track documents related to standards and quality of materials delivered i.e. Mill Test Reports for rebar, embedded metals and anchor bolts
•Communicate with rebar and concrete suppliers and tracking their invoices
•Prepare and maintain materials inventories i.e. scaffoldings, anchor bolts, formwork
•Working within estimation teams in developing complete projects cost estimates
•Quantity take off and preparation of Bill of Quantity
•Participate in site visits and develop presentations for brain storming meetings
•Attend estimation and final bid review meetings
•Develop pre-bid construction schedules
•Report preparation on projects constraints and seasonal environmental restrictions
•Working with junior surveying team and reporting to chief surveyor
•Reading and interpreting blueprints and land surveying maps
•Soil testing (working with soil testing technicians and reporting to site engineer)
•Perform project management, contract admin and and site planning tasks
•On-site safety training
