OF SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for chemicals on rig site and mixing of drilling fluids systems.
• Maintain the mud parameters according to the drilling program.
• Update well information and reporting to the client.
• Estimating mud materials and chemicals required for drilling each interval including estimating the
tonnage per material, per well and recommendations and estimates for ordering.
• Ensuring that adequate stock of mud chemicals is available on the Rig site.
• Update the Mud Report based on the mud chemicals received /used, daily.
• Ensures that loading / off loading, stocking/ re-stocking mud chemicals at the well site is done properly
and carefully.
• Assist in ensuring that mud spills are prevented and that all means are implemented to ensure zero
mud discharge to the environment.
• Follow up the mud characteristics and properties during the operations.
• Check and evaluate solids control equipment at the rig site.
• Supervising and advising drilling crew for daily drilling operations.
• Make sure that chemical yard/ sack room is kept in good condition.
