Job Responsibilities:
• Organized controlled inventory, maximizing quantity comparisons with on-hand quantities.
• Negotiated contract requirements, price, quantities, and lead time details to achieve the cost saving plan.
• Monitor vendor performance levels and coordinate improvements as required by correcting poor supplier performance according to the supplier evaluation.
• Establish delivery schedules, monitor progress, trace shipments, follow up undelivered goods, and resolve problems and disputes.
• Handle the payment for our suppliers “C.A.D - L/C - T. Transfer”.
• Sourcing new suppliers.
• Direct procurement team inside Egypt and outside location (Algeria - Ethiopia - Sudan - Qatar - Yemen- KSA).
• Procurement supervisor of Material such as ( Copper - aluminum - lubrications -Wood - Zinc - lead - Steel Rod -Polyethylene - LS0H -Ink - galvanized steel wire - steel cores - Water blocking Tapes - Aluminum foils - PVC - ETC ) with estimated monthly value of 10, 000, 000.00 USD .
• Lean project - adding new supplier in our approved suppliers list instead of the current approved supplier with huge saving in prices, payment term and delivery.
• Had an instrumental part in the opening of the newest plants.
• Research international suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier’s reputation and history.
• Monitoring department KPIs, saving reports & Annual reports.
