• Key user in ERP SYS implementation project (Oracle® Retail Merchandising System-Retek V.12).
• Focal point between IT & other departments for the technical issues and activities’ ledgers accounts mapping.
• Key user in value added tax (VAT) implementation project KSA & Bahrain.
• Responsible for the VAT monthly return preparation, reporting and auditing.
• Managing three international regions (KSA-HO, Oman & Bahrain)
• Taking the ownership of providing coaching and supervision to GL and AP
teams of 15 accountants.
• Monitoring and controlling the accounting activities.
• Analysis of Trial Balance accounts B.S / PNL (annually/quarterly).
• Implementing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, and its controls.
• Responsible for the external auditing process (annually/quarterly).
• Responsible for the import Shipments landed cost (Freight/Clearance).
• Liaise and coordinate closely with the direct suppliers (Apple, Samsung, LG,
Huawei, etc...)
• Tracking notes payable (LCs, LGs & SBLC).
• Review and prepare the ledger & sub ledger accounts monthly reconciliation.
• Produce monthly closing reports (category margin, supplier aging report, supplier list, damaged - available returns report, advanced payment report, debit balance suppliers, aged report, shrinkage report, scrap & inventory in transit, active letter of credit list).
• Lead & Assist FD with all system enhancements testing and implementation efforts and or procedures to increase efficiencies.
Supervisory role responsible in monitoring junior or fresh-grad accounts payable clerks providing both administrative and financial support in a corporate environment by processing transactions and monitoring payroll functions in a high volume accounts payable environment.
• Supervises accounts payable.
• Handling using JD Edwards financial system. And logali system. • Stock takes controller. • Handling supplier’s claims and problems.
