Responsible for securing the best price for all purchases without jeopardizing quality and time. Achieving the
department & company targets for cost saving and cost avoidance. Ensure transparent competition among
available and potential suppliers. Responsible for generating and submitting purchase orders in accordance
with the company policies and procedures. Maintain a large database of vendors and contacts within the
industry. Coordinate deliveries and shipments of all supplies. Maintain all purchasing documents and reports.
Prepare and submit the necessary data required for purchasing reports. Coordinate with plant manager and
plant team the purchasing priorities to ensure the plant operation. Liaising with finance department the
payment and transaction day by day. Track orders and confirms system lead times. Delivery dates, and costs.
Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of best value, delivery schedules
and quality. Coordinate with user departments and suppliers. Evaluating bids and making recommendations
based on commercial and technical factors. Expedite outstanding and urgent purchase orders regularly. Keep
purchasing records organized to be easily retrievable.
Partner with suppliers and inventory planners and ensure accurate movement of all international goods and
ensure arrival of goods within required time-frame and obtain best freight rates at all times. Review shipping
documents to make sure they comply with the Egyptian customs regulations. Plan and coordinate the
international shipment of goods.
Negotiated price and terms with suppliers. Inspected goods for any defects and missing parts. Maintained
records of purchases.
