Projects:

ERP (SAP) Implementation Project in the Oil Operating Companies (SUDAN):

In May, 2011 I have been nominated by my company (Sudapet) to join the core technical team in UBIS project. UBIS is a project holding a national strategic vision for oil & gas industry in Sudan by developing and implementing a unified and integrated business information system that can cover all the operational and financial activities to support both government and Contractors ability to execute and monitor the agreements provisions.
In April 2012 project teams successfully met the go-live date and now the SAP system is running in Three operating companies.
My role in the project was to look after system administration (Role Creation, Authorization management, Users administration, performance monitoring and backup monitoring).
After the go live the ministry of oil (Sudan) form a new organization to manage the system across all the companies and to enrolling new companies. and I attached from my company to the ministry of oil as "SAP BASIS Consultant" with the following responsibilities:
• Installation may include SAP R/3, ECC, Net weaver, Net Weaver components, Solution Manager etc...
• Handle SAP user administration includes creates and delete users, assign and reset passwords, lock and unlock username.
• Client administrator.
• Create and restore data backups.
• Printer or spool configuration and administration.
• Create RFCs and configure TMS (Transport Management System).
• Monitor and manage the servers, background jobs, performance of the system.
• Create, Modify authorizations roles.
• Analyze and fix missing authorizations issue.
• SAP license management.
• Monitor the status of work processes, application servers and system logs etc…
• Analyze the ABAP dumps.
• Manage the database space allocation.
• System copies.
• Configure SAP GUI at client computers.
• Identify network, OS, systems application troubleshooting for client and server


ISO 27001 Implementation:

In June, 2012 I joint internal team to implement to work with ISMS consultant to implement the ISMS standard.
My responsibility in the team was to provide all related information and assets identification & classification in the side of the system administration; in addition to that I was the coordinator between the organization and the consultant.
