DETAILED JOB SUMMARY:-
Coordinate specific QC activities, receive and review all Inspection / Test Request, on-site notifications and coordinate the same with the relevant project team members.
Follow up Contractor implementation of accepted QA/QC Procedures for on-site activities and report any non-conformity to the QA/QC Manager.
Support the project planning and conducting Quality Surveillance in own trades.
Control and monitor Site Non Conformances and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Monitor and Control the quality of work from execution through project close out.
Implement QA/QC manual, Project Quality Plan.
Carry out inspection and surveillance for civil works.
Check the coherence of the works with the plans and specifications of the project and the compliance of the subcontractors with the quality requirements.
Furnish technical guidance to superintendent and contractors with regard to procedures.
Participate in quality review programs with the Supervisors.
Evaluate the procedure of testing and their results.
Issue Non-conformance Report NCR and Site Observation Memo S.O.M. to contractor as the case may require.
Lead the civil discipline team in punch listing for all systems where civil scope is involved.
Report directly to Project Coordinator and QA/QC Manager Witnessing of on-site specialist tests.
Supervision and inspection of flood test in water proofing.
Responsible for the total quality requirements of the projects based on contract specifications and Project Quality Plan.
Fully responsible for the project quality control including inspections on check advises in co- ordination with Client’s Representatives / third party inspectors.
Establish and maintain a high degree of quality awareness by encouraging all Sub - Contractors in achieving a quality performance attitude.
Actively participate in site meetings and provide proactive ongoing support to the site mgt. teams.
Responsible to provide active support and technical supervision of the site-based field audit and inspection function.
Responsible for the Identification of the project quality related issues that have the potential of adversely effecting the contractual commitments and the operations.
Ensuring the project quality management and quality control programs and practices that are reflective of international quality standards.
Participate actively in the documentation and reporting of contractual non-conformances and other related issues
Implementing and reviewing Project Procedures.
Monitoring Quality Plans and advising for revisions.
Co-ordinate with internal and 2nd party audits as per Project Quality Plan & Client’s requirements.
