- Review, Coordinate and provide technical support to Projects ensuring technical, commercial adherence to project schedules, specification and quality.
- Preparing the necessary Technical, Cost Analysis, Value Engineering, Design Review reports to support operation and construction of different projects.
- Develop dedicated procurement strategies for specific projects and fast track projects.
-Work Duties and Responsibilities
-Manage, coordinate and provide technical support to the procurement team ensuring timely procurement and delivery of material, according to specification, schedule, quality and Company procedures and practices.
-Represent procurement team in meetings with project engineers, suppliers to finalise the technical and commercial aspects of the order.
-Take leadership of and provide direction to procurement team and manage and ensure resolution of problems.
-Review / assess technical Specification, BOQ (Bill of Quantity) and Drawings to determine suitable vendors and suppliers.
-Prepare inquiry documents about commercial standards, technical specifications, B.O.Q.’s and Drawings, as per Company requirements.
-Review vendors and suppliers quotations to determine the best offer complies with contract, best price and delivery date.
-Review quotations of identified technical and commercial specifications received from the vendors and suppliers.
-Perform all the other managerial level jobs as per the given delegation of authority.
-Prepare & issue purchase orders in accordance with selected suppliers, price and technical specifications.
-Attend procurement kick - off meetings for projects. Procurement (Electrical) over view and assist in procurement strategy.
-Check and evaluate design and material specifications for tender projects or other projects under design stage (When Requested).
-Prepare and check material data sheets and make the necessary coordination to select materials.
-Document, record and report on meetings, progress of jobs and construction completions.
-Incorporate feed back from projects and customers for design clarification and the related modifications on material during the project’s development and construction process.
-Give support to Tendering team for the pricing, technical issues, discount values and follow up with the suppliers.
-Preparation of the electrical shop drawing.
-Preparation of the material submittals.
-Material Take Off Preparation.
-Reviewing of drawings and preparing RFI's.
-Coordination with all activities and site technical support.
-Projects studying and preparing RFQ's.
-Attending Meetings with clients, Project Staff, Consultants.
-Material Selection And procurement.
-Negotiation with suppliers for best Technical and Commercial Offers.

-Calculations, preparing drawings and tender documents.
-Shop drawings and material submittals revision.
-Inspection and supervision at site.
-Contractors' assessment.
-Attending meetings and taking decisions in technical and admenstrative matters .
